agreed the chapter is a good recap for me but the best part of the content is just them theorizing things about the early breadcrumbs the show is giving to them
Agreed. Most reaction channels rely on doing animated reactions during the show, but I get the opinion Ben and Anna actually enjoy not only watching but discussing the show afterwards which sets them apart.
I REALLY wish someone would inform them that SG is a visual novel and not a manga (originally, since of course there's a manga version and manga spin-offs).
Still, it’s completely unresponsive to let her send the d-mail without even checking the content of it. Even more considering he is a scientist, he is not just a random guy know thinks time-traveling is just for fun.
@@jplayer7jonny410 No, at that point in time he WAS a random guy who thinks time traveling is just for fun. He hadn't come to realize how much damage one simple message, sent to the past, could do. He wanted to know where the IBN went more than anything, so "just one message" from Feyris is not a threat to him. He was mistaken. So mistaken. He didn't manage his risks by forcing her to divulge the content of her message. And this mistake is where he learnt that important lesson.
These things happen, as they say, the day you first make a backup is the day after you needed a backup and don't have one. Having a scratch recording to be safe is a solid strategy.
Sucks what happened but you guys made the best of it and the discussion part truly is what makes your reactions great, so that's good. I will say that SD cards are easily the most unreliable form of storage. Maybe that's unavoidable with your setup, but recording to ssd/hdd or even cloud directly going to be much better than dealing with SD cards of any form
Oh god that sucks about the SD card failure! 😞 I only have a webcam so I never even thought about how that kind of problem could be a *massive* issue. Definitely a good idea to work in some failsafes going forward! Hopefully they'll just be peace of mind and won't actually be needed though 😄
@AutoSave I would recommend getting a NAS (network Attached Storage) setup with a redundancy raid. So that way all your files are backed up more than once and can be rebuilt if lost. Synology makes a great one that’s not too hard to setup yourself. They are expensive but as a graphic designer and photographer myself, knowing all my data is safe and secure and accessible anywhere anytime I have wifi is worth the cost. Just my 2 cents on the matter.
I feel like Feyris asked for her dad to not be absent as much. And because of that, he never got to do all the business required to spread the culture around town. Also Feyris the character's name is Feyris Nyan Nyan lol
I got so upset with ep9. How does a scientist doing a experiment dealing with time traveling and altering the past lets a random friend who is not a scientist (and doesn’t understand the seriousness of messing with timelines) sending a d-mail that will change the past and the world line without even knowing the content of the message nor what it would actually change, and without considering any of those things? The plot-holes in this show make me nuts, I honestly just kept watching it because the characters are good. It’s quite enjoyable if you turn off your brain a little. But that is kinda the problem, it’s a show that presents itself as it intelligent but you need to turn off your brain to ignore some of the plot-holes
If you care that much that you claim the show has plot holes, then play/watch the original Visual Novel, as the anime compressed TOO MUCH LORE into 24 episodes. So much was compressed, you'd think they used a Kerr black hole to do it. And no, there is no inconsistency with Okabe allowing Feyris to send the message. What you claim to be "plotholes" is you not understanding that Okabe is NOT that smart. And worse, he stumbled upon an ultra powerful weapon (time machine) while not having the mental maturity to use it carefully. All of these things are consistent with the world and the characters. Your misunderstanding of the character does not make that a "plot hole" ALL THAT SAID, he learnt his mistake precisely after this result, and he grew after that. From that point on, you can truly consider him smart.
feels awful to have any files you care about get corrupted, or lost. as a digital artist, i feel your pain! but no need to be sorry, your discussions are fantastic, just as the reactions are; i look forward to both :- ) thank you guys for what you do, and all the care you put into this channel. take care!
"Unless you could somehow zip it, right? Condense the information" 37:07 This dude isn't Diet Kyouma, he's Diet Kurisu. I know I'm 9 months late to the reaction but god damn that was a good suggestion.
No worries, please take your time! Your reactions are so worth the wait and if the discussion is podcast esque, we will be happy regardless ❤️ take your time to sort things, we are grateful for the content
@@AutoSaveFamily It seems like the video cuts rather abruptly at the end during the episode 9 discussion though? Perhaps a bit of an editing flub unrelated to the SD card issue? 🤔 Not sure how much was left either way but thought it may be worth pointing out 🙂
Ben: Apologises profusely for an actual accident that was not within his immediate control Also Ben: Does not apologise for two complete whiffs in a row on the "that's what she said" bit
Posting the next two episodes after the copyright issues are cleared by the claimant, they are completely ready to go. One has complete footage, the other does not. It seems like they will claim anything with MHA in the title.
