Just seen an add for ram 1500, 15% off OR 0% financing...for 2023s....20 F ing 23s. Try 30-40% AND 0% financing. And that just the negotiating point.

Back in 2016 my brother-in-law bought a brand new Ram Longhorn - fully loaded - $36K. These trucks have more than doubled in 8 years!!

Been working at a CDJR dealer for the past 11 years. Things used to be affordable and built with decent quality.

I just want to know how many millions this CEO will pocket when they close the doors, leaving thousands out of a job?… this CEO seems to think that 100 grand for a jeep is acceptable… to him a 100 grand is like buying a loaf of bread… so tired of corporate greed and price gouging!… these people get rewarded for sinking companies

Just got rid of my 2021 Wrangler Rubicon! Bought new in 2022 nothing but problems, never again. Same thing happened in 2014 I bought a new Wrangler and nothing but problems. I'm Done.

Bought a used 2016 Jeep Patriot for $8,500 in cash. Will never buy a brand new one. Never had and never will. My first was a used car and my last car will be a used car. This Jeep is in great condition. I'm the third owner and the previous owners really took care of it, as I will. My 2006 Ford Freestyle finally took a crap after putting 221,000 miles on it. Had the Ford for 14 years. I got my money's worth out of it. As I'm planning to do the same with my 2016 Jeep.

The reasons...pricing and quality...pricing and quality...pricing and quality. The car buying public has been "getting wiser" for a while, now. It's one thing to pay a lot of money for a "quality built" vehicle...quite a bigger thing to pay a lot of money for a troublesome unreliable vehicle.

Stellantis is way past a Disney miracle and all ready passed the Xmas miracle. I don't see Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep being saved unless they pawn those brands off on someone else. When you don't know the North American market and price yourself in the same range as a BMW, Mercedes you feel the consequences. Not everybody in North America can afford the BMW or a Mercedes the can afford the middle class vehicles. And the quality between a Jeep and a BMW are on two different levels.

Stellantis needs to sell all of their US holdings. A new owner must revitalize Jeep, get rid of silly stuff like candy colors, get rid of the Grand Wagoneer and leave that market to the Escalade and Navigator; Shed the "Ram" name and logo, get back to being Dodge Trucks, which most owners call them anyway; rebuild the Dodge cars nameplate into a true performance division, and leave Chrysler for the luxury and high-content corporate flagship. Maybe that Jeep Grand Wagoneer can be Chrysler's SUV answer to the Escalade; just not as a "Jeep." Bring back the reliable engines of the past, like the 4.0 Inline 6... or, heck, even a modernized Slant Six 225!

81k for a durango lol. it will be worth 8100 after you drive it off lot. then after 1 year of driving and replacing a new engine lol this junk will sell for 3k on the used market.

Out of town last week I rented a Ram 2500 4x4 with cloth seats & not really anything else. No Sun roof or sliding rear window. It was a nice truck. Not sure what model but I did pop the hood and saw a Hemi. Originally I requested a Ram 1500. That’s the only size trucks GMC that I’ve owned previously for 29 yrs. Wasn’t use to eco mode and dash lights automatically dimming then coming back on bright intermittently. I only drove at night for about an hour. I’m sure there’s a setting some place for that. It did show my speed though. Price … no idea what it’d sell for. Pull up Hertz car sales. I put 268 miles on it. The truck had under 800 miles on it when returned.

Love my paid off 2020 ram no issues with it yet. But I’ll keep it till it rots away. I did look at a used 2020 grand Cherokee on 9/30/24 . Over 60,000 miles mid level and still wanted 38+grand for it so I don’t see used cars coming down . People will be going after the used market so prices will climb again . ( just my opinion) . But let’s see what happens in January.

My 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4-dr Willys had a recall for an overheating clutch. Do you know how the dealer remedied it with the service bulletin? The dealership removed the OEM skid plate for the transmission! I found this out by accident when I went to install an aftermarket skid plate. I'm seeing a fire-sale going right now for the Hornet in my neck of the woods. One dealer is slashing prices by as much as $15,000!

No surprise here at all. I never wish ill on any business or working person. That would be ill conceived. However when it comes to the owners of these super greedy Jeep dealerships, if I saw a bunch go under, I wouldn't feel bad for them at all.
