Good thing about this game, when there is a harmful environment such as living sand or electrified water, once she touch it, she is as good as dead, but the developer decided to not make it game over immediately, instead, they make her able to struggle for few seconds, giving us the player the illusion of getting out of there alive before she finally gave up. Like those living sand for example, once you touch it, even if you walk back to a safer ground, she will still drown slowly

4:44 the boss we got to see in the trailer and demo is still the best out of all of them. I love how surprised Eve looks when it catches her leg and drags her on the ground, and when she finally realises what's happening and tries to use her sword to free herself it just grabs her head and runs her over with his spikes while her swordarm is helpless and unable to fight back

I don't understand. The game has a maximum rating, but there are still a lot of restrictions. The monster saw directly hints that the dismemberment was originally intended. It was possible to at least make sure that the heroine did not die theatrically, it looks unrealistically cheap.

Besides the QTEs, you're not supposed to die with most of these grabs, so it makes sense that there's no dismemberment or anything of that sort. You just take massive damage and if your HP happens to fall to 0, you die.

@@zffrailgun1630 Make sense if you still have life left...but if you hit 0, then there should be some dismemberment....and much more blood. Come on, she get grinded by a chain saw head or get stabbed by a huge sword and not one bit of blood. Thats pretty lazy and unrealistic.

@@Extasei You also have to account for the fact that even if you die, you can still revive yourself with a WB Pump, so dropping your HP to 0 can't do anything drastic either. As for the blood, there's only one entity to blame here and that's Sony, not the devs. It's obvious from the demo that the game was going to be bloodier but just like some of the outfits, Sony forced SU to tone down the blood too.

@@zffrailgun1630 That's why I love Devolver publisher and their projects for their bloodlust. For some reason, they don't care about censorship. Not to mention the games that are banned in Australia. And before, no one cared about censorship, Bloodrayne 1,2 and Postal 2 were generally released on discs and had an advertising campaign.

1 death pose for lying on her back, and 1 for lying on her front, and 1 voice. They really dont expect you to die at all.

There's actually More death poses: 2 falling down (it's the same poses as the down ones), 2 lying aside (when you die on the floor), 1 drowned in the water and like 4 voices. There's 5 at least but the animations are well done.

The exact opposite actually. The didn’t bother animating a lot and made the You Died screen come quick because the CEO figured, especially late game, people would die a lot so let’s get them back into the action quicker

Seeing that beautiful final form struggled to hold Lily's providence attack and her sad attempt to draw breath and stay conscious is so arousing, lol. She looks so elegance yet so pathetic, lying unconscious Too bad we can't use it like regular suit

Man those Red flashing screen edges when you Die in a Game or near Dead are so annoying they should get rid off that pesky Feature or give us a option to Deaktivate it I hate that
