As I watched the video, I learned that the understanding of nuclear synthesis began in early 1900's. I gained additional information about the stars specifically how it is formed and what makes it shine for a period of time. I am overwhelmed with how you concisely and clearly explained about "stellar nucleosynthesis" and I just can't wait for our discussion about it in our class. :)

I learn through this video that Stellar Nucleosynthesis is the process by which elements are created within stars by combining the protons and neutrons together from the nuclei of lighter elements. All of the atoms in the universe began as hydrogen. Fusion inside stars transforms hydrogen into helium, heat, and radiation. Also it is the collective term for the nuclear reactions taking place in stars to build the nuclei of the heavier elements. Thank you for such a nice and very useful video

This has been a Great help for students who wants to learn more about Stellar Nucleosynthesis. Stellar nucleosynthesis is the process by which the natural abundances of the chemical elements within stars change due to nuclear fusion reactions in the cores and their overlying mantles. Stars are said to evolve (age) with changes in the abundances of the elements within. Core fusion increases the atomic weight of elements and reduces the number of particles, which would lead to a pressure loss, except that gravitation leads to contraction, an increase of temperature and a balance of forces.[1] A star loses most of its mass when it is ejected late in the star's lifetime, thereby increasing the abundance of elements heavier than helium in the interstellar medium.

Thank you for such a great presentation. I am an armchair astronomer/physicist & have always been fascinated by the stars- Quantum Mechanics, Stellar Evolution & the processes which occur inside stars. I have literally read millions of words on the subject since I was a child- but I still managed to learn things I didn't previously know via your presentation. Thank God for the information age and computers which allow me to access such esoteric information so quickly & easily. I learn through this video that stellar nucleosynthesis was the discovery of variations in the abundances of elements found in the universe. Also stellar nucleosynthesis occured during 20th century, when it was realized that the energy released from nuclear fusion reactions accounted for the longevity of the Sun as a source of heat and light. In other sources I watched, in 1920, Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington was the one who proposed that stars obtained their energy from nuclear fusion of hydrogen to form helium and also raised the possibility that the heavier elements are produced in stars. The most important reactions in stellar nucleosynthesis are the following: HYDROGEN FUSION, HELIUM FUSION, FUSION OF HEAVIER ELEMENTS, PRODUCTION OF ELEMENTS HEAVIER THAN IRON. Fusion, which occurs when atomic nuclei combine to form new elements, is extremely powerful. All the stars in the universe, including the Sun, are nuclear furnaces fueled by fusion. Through fusion, stars are responsible for forming all the naturally occurring elements heavier than hydrogen and helium before stellar nucleosynthesis, only the lightest elements existed in the universe. The type of hydrogen fusion process that dominates in a star is determined by the temperature dependency differences between the two reactions. Main sequence stars accumulate helium in their cores as a result of hydrogen fusion, but the core does not become hot enough to initiate helium fusion. Helium fusion first begins when a star leaves the red giant branch after accumulating sufficient helium in its core to ignite it. Elements with odd numbers of protons are formed by other fusion pathways. --- DALIN, L. ----HUMSS I

I learned through this video that people in the old generation doesn't have this idea about star and sun, they just knew it is the God, where in, some society who worship Sun as their God. I also learned that Stellar Nucleosynthesis, is the process on how elements which surround us were faded inside the star. This story was started in early 1900's, when the current understand the processes of stellar nucleosynthesis, when it was realized that the energy released from nuclear fusion reactions accounted for the longevity of the Sun as a source of heat and light. It states that the Sun shines almost two to three million years. In 1905, the newly identified radiation in some elements embedded encourage a new field of radioactive dating and the evidence which are rose so just the Earth is at least one to two billion years ago. Stellar Nucleosynthesis is a name of nuclear fusion reaction in stars during their lifetimes and synthesize new larger elements. I learned that from the proton + proton chain reaction , it evolves to carbon nitrogen oxygen chain. as the star reaches its end it could be fade away or collapsed and explode called supernovae. to understand more about nuclear fusion, it started in the atom. atoms are made up of nucleus with a cloud surrounding. nucleus is made up of only protons and neutrons, electrons that surround in its orbitals. electrons are the negative charge while protons are the positive charge and neutrons has no charge.there are two nuclear processes, the fusion and fission. fusion is joining of two elements to make a larger element while fission occurs when one element splits into smaller elements. i have fun on watching the video.

I learned through this video that stellar nucleosynthesis is the name of the nuclear fusion reactions in stars during their lifetimes. At their catastrophic ends, it create the energy which powers the star and synthesizes new larger elements out of the simple small element which fueled it. Stars are said to evolve with changes in the abundances of the elements within. As a star reaches the end of its life it can either fade away or collapse and explode in spectacular events called novae and supernovae. These explosions are fueled by and initiate fusion reactions which create all the heavier elements in the universe. Also, nuclear fusion processes could keep stars shining for billions of years. Element nuclear fission occurs when one larger element splits into two or more smaller ones both of these reactions can release tremendous amounts of energy. I also learned that for short periods of time, supernova can produce more energy than an entire of stars do. Vast stellar explosions create the heavy elements in the universe such as silicon, calcium, titanium, nickel, iron, cobalt among many others. I learned the process of how the elements which surrounds were created inside of stars.

this video was great i've learn a lot of this presentation and stellar nucleosynthesis is the process by which the natural abundances of the chemical elements within stars change due to nuclear fusion reactions in the cores and their overlying mantles.A stimulus to the development of the theory of nucleosynthesis was the discovery of variations in the abundances of elements found in the universe.

11-Animation It was an Informative for students and who those interested in the process of stars "Stellar Nucleosynthesis" due to fusion reactions of stars within, it will evolve and having some of different elements. And this night I knew that the earth is older than sun. Also with fision too with is opposite to fusion.

From this video i learned that Nucleosynthesis is the process that creates new atomic nuclei from pre-existing nucleons, primarily protons and neutrons. The first nuclei were formed about three minutes after the Big Bang, through the process called Big Bang nucleosynthesis. It was then that hydrogen, helium and lithium formed to become the content of the first stars, and this primeval process is responsible for the present hydrogen/helium ratio of the cosmos. With the formation of stars, heavier nuclei were created from hydrogen and helium by stellar nucleosynthesis, a process that continues today. Some of these elements, particularly those lighter than iron, continue to be delivered to the interstellar medium when low mass stars eject their outer envelope before they collapse to form white dwarfs. The remains of their ejected mass form the planetary nebulae observable throughout our galaxy. from: CLARENCE ABELLANOSA HUMSS 1

As I watch this amazing and wonderful video, I've learn that the stars are made through the process which is called stellar nucleosynthesis . The story of stellar nucleosynthesis started on 1900's. Stars shine by nuclear fusion that is according to Hasbethe or Arthur Eddington. Many abundances elements found in the universe, and the stellar nucleosynthesis is the one of the elements who contribute to elemental abundances of the universe.

I learned through this video on how did they work by Conversion of matter to energy and Nuclear fusion matter from stars. Early1900's the stars are made through processes in which how they shine. Stellar nucleosynthesis story started on 1900's. Stellar Nucleosynthesis is the name of nuclear fusion process and they show, calculated then it takes a billions of years by hans bethe / arthur eddington. On the other hand, mass is the most loses of a star and incremently increasing the abundance of elements heavier compare to the helium in the interstellar medium. When stars are changing it's because of nuclear fusion. These are the reason proton + proton chain, carbon nitrogen oxygen chain, supernove synthesis. I've learned a lot this video on how they explode, and how they explode and nucleus how they made up those neutrons, protons, electrons surround on it orbitals. Many abudances of elements found in the universe, stellar nucleosynthesis is dominating contributor to elemental abudances in the universe and many heavy elements of the universe are formed.. 11- ANIMATION

I learned through this video that Stellar Nucleosynthesis is the process that involves the synthesis of nuclei due to nuclear reactions that take place in stars. These nuclei belong to various elements that are heavier than hydrogen. More particularly, the protons and neutrons of the lighter element nuclei take part in fusion reactions to form nuclei of much heavier elements. -balik skwela na

I learn through this video that the process in which the elements that surround us created inside of stars is called nucleosynthesis. Hasbethe or Arthur Eddington comes into a calculation that nuclear fusion processes can make stars shine for billions of years. Stellar nucleosynthesis is the name of nuclear fusion of stars and the synthesis of new elements. There are various types of reactions involved and forces which governed those reactions namely: the nuclear fusion, proton+proton chain reactions, carbon nitrogen oxygen chain and supernovae synthesis. The elements are created within stars by combining the protons and neutrons together from the nuclei of lighter elements. All of the atoms in the universe began as hydrogen. Fusion inside stars transforms hydrogen to helium. Heavier elements are created in different types of stars as they die or explode. Furthermore, stars are said to evolve with changes in the abundance of elements within. Thus, everything that we have and are, was forced in the nuclear furnaces of stars. ps: it's for our project guys. sorry ✌

I leaned that the nucleosynthesis is the process on how the stars are formed, also the earth is thousand times older than the sun, the meaning of stellar nucleosynthesis is the fusion of stars and the making of new elements, protons and neutrons are massive elements surrounded by the electrons with orbitals in it, Fusion is the combination of two smaller elements to form a larger element, Fission is the Combination of larger elements which splits to two or more smaller particles and with this reaction it creates tremendous energy, electromagnetic force is a very strong magnetic forces in all the gravity of the earth while the Strong Nuclear Force is the very strongest electrostatic, also i learned that the sun's hot isn't enough to combines protons, the final stage of the nucleosynthesis is the supernovae in a short period of time it can create a large form of energy than the entire moe galaxies do, the type Ia and Ib elements create a lighter to heavier elements while the exploding type ll elements creates the rest of the heavier elements, also all the elements heavier than the helium and hydrogen were fused inside the stars, everything of what we have now was forged from the nuclear furnaces of stars.

I've learned fromthis video is that the stars change due to nuclear fusion reactions in the cores and overlying mantles of stars. It said that the stars will evolced together with changes in the abundance , while the core increases its atomic weight of gaseous elements. It also said that stars will lose its mass when it si ejected in their stellar lifetimes.
