Made an error on Enamorus! Forgot about iron defense would drop it’s stats for the 4th move slot lol. 😅 I would recommend something like mystical fire in the 4th slot.

Don’t put Iron Defense on a Contrary Pokemon. It hurts.

I kinda like that we have the option not to change the type when we go tera. Hisuian Zoroark definitely benefits from this because it wont lose its amazing typing.

Appreciate you making this particular video. I had been asking myself for the Iron Bundle why is no one talking about Terapagos and Stellar?? I did try and experiment myself with these exact 4 Pokemon last night but doesn't seem to work for me personally. So seeing you upload this really makes me feel validated.. Hahaha. Serperior can use screens for coverage & defense, also I recommend dual types that Wolfey thinks are B and above since Dialga love(s/d) hiding behind Steel Beam to counter fairies, so Tera Stellar Azumarill snubbed it off.

Hey, remember that contrary also transforms boosts to stats into drops, so using iron defense Enamorus is not recommended, you can use mystical fire to drop the opponent's special attack so you have both defensive sides covered or you can use draining kiss or you can use the free slot for whatever you want your mon to do

So idk, i wanna try out the support transform mew with the stellar type for big damage while still having the support moves. Form my understanding, transform can change your base but not your tera type so idk wanna test it out more for like a swiss army knife build like lama god.

Not sure if this is mentioned anyway in your video, but going tera- Stellar mean you do less damage to the raid Pokemon shield than if you used a matching tera type. You still get the boost when using a stab move against the shield, but it count as non-matching tera attacks.

... I just tried something and yeah, noticed that. And that *really* sucks. It'd have been great to have a backup Iron Hands/Annihilape or whatever else for raids where they're useful but you don't want to sacrifice their other type (like Hands' immunity to paralysis while electric). Seems like a cruel decision that kneecaps the one true use Stellar would have had outside of contrary pokemon...

I have 500 stellar shards and like 700+ of all other shards. I haven't used the stellar yet. Don't understand it.

my questions is, argument sake, grass type with stellar, will it retain its normal 2x stab boost from being tera and gain the boost from stellar as going tera increases stab to 2x anyway, does stellar make it stronger, also regarding mons that have adaptability what would happen then, do they become weaker or do then gain an additional 50% so 2.5 times boost or even three as they are normal 2x anyway so tera should make them 2.5 so stellar makes them 3x or stays at 2 or 2.5x

From my understanding you lose the adaptability bonus when you tera in Stellar type. Normal tera would be more ideal on a Porygon Z for the damage boost.

@@PanFro what about the first part of my question though, would a grass type retian its STAB and get boost from stellar or just what would effectively be regular Tera stab bonus of 2x

It would be the same damage dealt for tera grass vs tera stellar in terms of damage boost. The advantage stellar has is tera blast is now 100 damage with the 1.2 damage boost and all your other damage moves that are non stab get a 1.2 damage boost. So serperior wants to go tera stellar as it gets a couple more benefits cause of the contrary ability interacting with tera blast

@@PanFro thank you, so short story with stellar you get a 20% boost on top of your original move power if that move is STAB to your Pokémon original typing except Tera blast which becomes super effective but not necessarily STAB but having that boost means a bit of coverage if your moves are not super effective

Stellar tera type isnt good for VgC and single battle. Also to me stellar tera, isnt good also on raids. The reason why is because you going to click every time the same supereffective move most of the time. The only pokemon that benefit from this tera type is exactly terapagos. I mean arceus isnt even available with this new update anyway in VgC or single. Arceus in raids is already good without anyway.

you mention every pokemon can learn tera blast, but there is actually one pokemon in the game that cannot and is otherwise able to learn moves from TMs - terapagos itself can't actually learn tera blast at all.

Why did they add Stella type It's not even a type. It's so very conditional and circumstantial. I think it's only to hype the DLC. Gen 9 is the worst.
