Giggles the third awoke, stretching his tiny wiggly limbs making a cute sound of happiness from the long nap. He made his way of his comically oversized but cute bed, landing on the corpse of his last night's bedmate. It was QUITE a night and today he had a busy day ahead of him! He wobbled across the floor humming to himself happily as he managed to climb up to his terminal and turn it on. "Let's get to work! yay!" giggles did an enthusiastic air pump with a wiggly limb and began to order his troops to destroy and quell any rebellion in the Happy town on the homeworld. Dissidents are not happy! Giggles gave a few giggles as he finished up the paperwork on how to fix the demands from the people of him stepping down. The nuclear mushroom cloud in the distance showing the result of their demand. Giggle's was so busy!

So, I just checked the Wiki... Apparently no matter your level of tech it still is worth building a science nexus as it gives a permanent +15% research speed. So even if your tech barrels out of control like last vid it'll still be an interesting option. Just wanted you to know. Keep on making awesome vids, love your channel!
Science Nexus = new tech every few months. The navy comes back to base feeling a bit like the soldiers in Haldeman's _Forever War_ . "Oh, we don't use that clunky old stuff any more." "We've only been gone 18 months!"
Once I was playing devouring swarm, and one xenophilic pacifist empire had this portrait, even calling my swarm "friends" in the first contact. When I declared war, they answered "But w-why?". Mastery of nature did used to extend the size of your planet... It gave you between one and three more tiles, now it gives you the same amount of district, but since districts are more powerful than old buildings, it did boost the ascension perk...

No retreat indeed! Khorne doesn't care from whence the blood flows, only that it flows! Also, untill yesterday i thought this is indeed a best start ever, untill i rolled a starting location such that with mere 2 chokepoints i secured myself a good 1/6 of the galaxy, with all the rare resources and huge planets i could ever want or need. Oh, and did i mention that i also had L-gate in my safe space, and one of the chokepoint systems also happens to contain of a stable wormhole leading right into the juicy fallen empire territory so endgame tech is at my fingertips as well?
