Better question who isn't hyped for may 12th and plays Stellaris?

So im a console player and this looks really cool and so i wanna know when the next dlc,s are coming and who they are (im gonna assume it would be nemesis)

I'd prefer well written book, filled with lore and concept arts. But I have to admit, that the most I want one, prescripted fabular scenario within our galaxy and events or history from trailers

I really hope Paradox readjust the scaling of all ships in-game in the future. Sure if we get some 'proper' scaling Corvettes would be tiny and almost impossible to see, but I think players wouldn't mind that too much when we also get to see all the capital ships in all their glory.

@@shadowtheme96 There are mods that do that for those who want the extra scale but its not for everyone so I don't see it ever making it into the base game

@@eldrenofthemist2492 It'd work nicely if it was just a series of short films that tell a tale of galactic scope, rather than focusing on minutia of characters. Stellaris trailers tend to tell a story about a theme and that'd work lovely for a grander series.

i will never understand this "humor". how is cracking worlds funny. i have only ever built a colossus once (only build it if other empires have it) and i only use it for the total war cb. only scenario i could bring myself to use it is if im fighting a crisis empire that has a strong fortress world and even then id probably use the global pacifier

@@lethharnom840 There is no end to the abomination of the alien. Do not allow any guise of sentience to stay your hand - there can be no hesitation when the survival of humanity as a species is at stake.

This is why I'd love a TV-Series or novel set in a Stellaris galaxy. An adventure focusing on some individuals excisting in such a world. So much potential!

Season 1 is about the Terran Union, an epic story of grim survival about humans being bullied and traumatized Season 2 is about the Antares Confederacy, a deep space colonization program gone wrong, and how they forged a beacon of liberty and freedom amidst their new hostile neighbors. The 2 stories aren't connected (they were separate in-game playthroughs) so you can start with whichever you prefer. Enjoy!

I wish the game was that good but it just ends up being a management game instead of a strategy game one thing that would make this the best game would be sins of solar empires or star wars empire at war type space combat where you can control each ship individually or group it together into a fleet so you can have more tactical combat by choosing what to target what to engage what to pursue and of course the biggest thing better ground combat like anything at least visualisation of ground combat just give me some immersion like come on these are the only two things that haven't changed since release

@@dragnarok4286 You've mixed the RTS with Grand Strategy. They are related genres, but they are fundamentally different. It is like asking for Hearts of Iron to be like Company of Heroes. They are simply two different genres of games. Grand strategy provides a much broader scope in their world, and the individual units and outcomes are modified by broader values (in this case, evasion, speed, general skills etc.) which are then applied. You rule the empire. You don't command individual ships. You are above it all, you organize everything so that you can get the best possible outcomes. Just like a real ruler. They don't micro every single thing. So no, never should the Grand Strategy game have the RTS option. It defeats the purpose. Because then, even when you screw up the grand strategy element and planning, you might find a way to get out of it by microing the shit out of some battle against the AI. So the whole purpose of the empire management is pointless grind then.

@@Wustenfuchs109 Its asking for the battles of Total War, and the campaign and diplomacy experience of Paradox. Nobody done it with great success before, but it should be possible nonetheless :P

The whole point of Stellaris, is it being "imaginary" game. You create your own civilization, your own rivals/enemies/allies, and create the world for it: you create the history longing further than any of us could, or wouldn't wish to live. Though it would be awesome to have a series
