I would recommend that, for the non-decimal numbers, you make it a decimal with a "0" for the tens place. For example 15 would be 15.0 and you would have a stem of 15 and a leaf of 0.
i still would like to understand how is would work for 4 digit numbers or bigger. For example my min is 229 and my max is 151000 and I am still confused
i think you have to keep only one digit in leaf and you can have as many digits as u like in stem. for example in the case of 229, u will have to keep 22 in stem but just 9 in leaf. similarly in 151000, just keep 15100 in stem and rest '0' in leaf. i hope u got my point.
He said u can’t have more than one for leaf, so I think for whichever number of digits, the same rule applies. Just maintain one leaf and put the other one million figures on the stem
