Very nice. Overheating is always a concern when using a forstner bit. I have also noticed that new ones will at times underperform, in my opinion. Thanks for the demo.
@@lennartjuhhyep getting a cut obviously…it worked out well for him bc they are sold out right now (I looked out of curiosity, way tooo expensive while other great choices exist)
So what did you prove here? That a highly engineered and probably way more expensive bit can outperform a cheaper one? No mention of price, which is something most all of us want to know. I’ll bet the Forster bits I use are cheaper than the Boremax bits and they do a pretty good job. Seems like just a sales pitch to me.
I always love your videos because I learn so much. I’m curious to see the difference between this new bit and a bit from Fisch. Do you have any Fisch fortsners?
There's a discount code in the description, so I'd say there may be some bias going on here. Did you receive any remuneration from the supplier for this vid?
Have to agree. The bits work but not near as fast and they do get hot quickly. The set was idk without looking, but I think 12 to 15 bits for less than the price of 5 of these, but they give you a work for sure. And I am very happy with the saw blades too.
