Wow! 🤩 Just WOW! Fashion history has been a passion of mine for more than 50 years. I was literally getting goosebumps watching this video. I haven't seen doll fashions so enticing since the days of Mel Odom's Gene Marshall dolls. And its a total hoot seeing you two so happy and excited as well. And can I say, this whole month has been amazing, and so much fun! I can't even imagine the work you've all put in, but I've enjoyed it all. Well done you!
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic and kind comment! We're thrilled to hear that you share our passion for fashion history and that you've been enjoying the content this month. It's been a labor of love, and comments like yours make it all worth it. We're always excited to share our love for dolls and fashion, and your support means the world to us. Here's to many more exciting doll adventures!
I bought my first Ellowyne a couple of days ago, can't wait for her to arrive. As she'll be flying over the sea to get to me it would be very appropriate to get something from this collection for her. Also, it's wonderful to see two people who obviously totally love what they are doing.
Thank you so much for your support - we just subscribed to your channel! We're thrilled to hear that you've bought your first Ellowyne doll, and we hope she arrives safely and brings you lots of joy. We truly do love what we do, and it's our passion for dolls that keeps us going.
Absolutely love this collection with it's history & glamour. This is the main reason I collect fashion dolls. Great job Christopher & thank you Rachel for making this possible for collectors.
Both you and Christopher’s excitement is absolutely contagious. ❤ These clothes are exactly why I’m thrilled for my new basic Neema and Ellowyne from you guys. Basic is almost MORE fun for us because we get to play and have fun dressing them up, and VDC always comes through with some pretty stellar fashions! You knocked it out the park once again! Bravo!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 We're thrilled that our excitement is contagious, and we're equally excited about your new basic Neema and Ellowyne dolls. Dressing up basic dolls can indeed be a lot of fun, and we're delighted to hear that you find our fashions stellar. Enjoy creating endless stylish looks for your dolls, and thank you for your support! Bravo to you too! 🌟❤️
This collection for Grace and Ellowyn is stunning. I make my doll clothes for my Ellowyn myself (I got my Ellowyne in 2023 and I'm not able to buy that much from overseas), surely fun to see these historic inspired collections. Also, your enthusiasm is so much fun to watch. Great video 😍
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 😊 I'm glad to hear that you enjoy creating doll clothes for your Ellowyne and find inspiration in our historic-inspired collections. Your support means a lot, and I'm thrilled to bring enthusiasm to the doll collecting community. Keep having fun with your dolls and crafting beautiful outfits! 😍💕
So inspiring! I live by the sea and can see myself with Grace and Ellowyne on the hill overlooking the port or posing in front of a cruise ship. Only problem is the choices...which outfits, they are all awesome
Thank you for your kind words! Imagining Grace and Ellowyne by the sea sounds absolutely enchanting. I understand the dilemma of choosing outfits when they are all so wonderful. It's a delightful challenge to have. Trust your heart, and I'm sure whichever outfits you choose, your dolls will look stunning overlooking the port or posing by the cruise ship. Enjoy your doll adventures by the sea! 😊🌊
This collection is so exciting. As a historical costumer, I own that book and have been on a zoom call with the curator who put together the exhibition. I would call those red pants either palazzo pants or 30’s beach pajamas
The clothes are beautiful, and I can see even without a close examination that they are so well-made! (Those gloves are completely amazing!) I love the historical angle, and the faithfulness to the original garments. I especially love you dipping your toes into 19th C. fashions, those especially are so interesting and irresistable to me! It is also kind of liberating that you are providing 19th C. garments made for a modern plastic doll - I have heard some say that only antique dolls or reproductions should be dressed so. I like my modern dolls and dressing them in historic clothes (tho' my husband teases me about my dolls mostly sitting around in their historic skivvies as I don't have nearly enough time to make all the doll ensembles I would like to). Nice to have fellow feeling.
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic and thoughtful comment! 😊 We truly appreciate your appreciation for our doll clothes and the historical accuracy we aim for. It's wonderful to hear that you find our 19th-century fashions interesting and irresistible, even for modern dolls. We believe that every doll enthusiast should have the freedom to dress their dolls in the styles they love. And it's perfectly okay for your dolls to enjoy their historic skivvies in between outfits. Your fellow feeling is warmly welcomed here in our doll-loving community! 💕
Seriously the more videos I watch on this collection, the more outfits I want to buy. They are all amazing and stunning! I also want to buy my first Grace doll, and having trouble making up my mind. When is Tonnerfest?
I got the 3 Grace outfits I ordered. And I’m so impressed with the high end quality of these outfits! I even went back and bought a second dress , this time the white one. I thought the large bows were mix and match, as it said on the page where I ordered the blue dress I think the blue dress would be pretty with the red bow.i guess if I’m willing to cut the threads i could turn them into mix and match. But really these doll outfits are the highest quality I have ever seen. It’s Like a couture shop for humans! I also got the Grace with the red hair , and she is stunning! I like that she has more natural curves, like real women do . Instead of skinny legs like a Barbie. Do you know when Tonnerfest is ? I need to save up for it, and needed to know. Thanks, Sue
Rachel, I really LOVE this Land and Sea outfits!!! Ruby Red Galleria is very talented!!! I am too far from the ocean even though I do not live on the beach, but I so LOVE anything nautical!! And I also LOVE horses too!! My very favorite outfits in this video are Grace and Ellowyne in the vacationing blue dress💙💙💙 and Grace in the cool read nautical jumpsuit❤❤❤!!! And I think that Neema would look best in the white and red vacationing dress with the lovely red bow❤🤍❤🤍!!! And I also LOVE those Paper Dolls that Diana Vining ( who is also very talented)💯💯!! And I so LOVE the Paper Doll that Dee Hermando from Brazil designed "Wistful Waves"🌊💙💙 with the pink sea horse💖💖💖!! And I so LOVE the Paper Doll horse🐴🐎 with a trophy🏆 that has a G🏆 on it for Grace💖💖💖💖!!! And Betty Boop looks cute too!! And I am a history buff, so I would LOVE to see outfits like Spectating in 1860s, Promenading in 1910, and the winter traveling in 1850 ( like in House on the Prairie) with the quilted bonnet❤💙❤💙!!! Thank you so much Rachel for sharing all the talents of Christopher, Ruby Red Galleria, Diana Vining, and Dee Hermando with all of us💖💖💖💖💖💖💖!!!
