AQUASCAPE NATURE STYLE - Step by Step Tutorial
AQUASCAPE TUTORIAL - Building a Simple Aquascape
Specifications:
Aquarium W50cm x H30cm x D22cm
Light:
Philip LED, 12 Watt x 2 seeds. Apart from the light from the LED lights, there is also additional light from sunlight that enters the Aquascape room.
Plant leaves with chlorophyll require CO2 to photosynthesize (cook food), while the roots that function to absorb nutrients and distribute them to the leaves require oxygen to grow vines.
Aerobic Substrate Conditions (Full of Oxygen) will greatly assist in plant development and growth
The color and brightness of plant leaves are affected by lights and cameras
Substrate using Cotton + Charcoal + Basic Fertilizer + Malang Sand.
For friends, I suggest using Factory Standard Substrate (Substrate Order: Bacteria House + Bacteria Starter + Basic Fertilizer + SOIL) Use Indonesian Products.
The water used is well water, water change is uncertain, sometimes 3 days, 4 days, sometimes 7 days it just changes water. Change of water is erratic, sometimes 4 days, sometimes up to 7 days before changing water
This Aquascape without using a filter, also without CO2 Inject, only relies on the built-in CO2 from well water, CO2 from fish breath, & also at night when the lights are off, the plant will produce pure CO2.
The content of nutrients & minerals in the well water that I use is relatively high, so there is no need to use liquid fertilizer anymore.
Pest Conch.
I deliberately put pest snails to eat the algae that sticks to plants. as long as the plant is healthy, the conch will not eat the leaves of the plant.
If the population of the pest snail is booming, it can be eradicated using Pufferfish and Assassin Snails.
