In addition I recommended to place a pillow under you knees while sleeping. It helps to maintain your position during sleeping. I started to sleep better after using the under knee pillow. Congrats on your new hair implant. I got mine September 2023

I had my hair transplant done 3 days ago. I am sleeping really few hours 4/5 hours a night. I find it more comfy to sleep on our reclining sofa with my neck cushion. I am a bit swollen in my face. The swelling seems to change by the day. From forehead to cheeks to nose to eye bag appearance. I just can’t wait to be able to sleep comfortably in bed on my side!

@@whitejodeci8926 No man, you had every right to act like a little bitch. I know I did. I’m pretty sure my handprint is a permanent mark on the arm rest of the chair. I knew they were gonna hurt after doing research, but nobody can prepare you for just how much. I mean, how bad can a needle hurt, right? Well I found out real quick. My transplant was a 3 day process so I had to go through it 3 days in a row. The 1st day I didn’t know what to expect but got through it. The 2nd day I knew so I gripped the chair, gritted my teeth and held my breathe and by the end of the 2nd day I was convinced I was NOT going back for the 3rd. I was willing to live the rest of my life with a fucked up, half done hairline but it actually wasn’t as bad on the final day. I guess because I was partially numb from the 2 days prior. Jesus, it’s been a month and I still can’t feel the top of my head. Aside from the shedding phase I’m currently in, the donor area still being tender as fuck and the non stop itching, it was all worth it when I look in the mirror. I have a year now to mentally prepare myself for going back to get the crown done.💉💉💉😰🤪😳🤦‍♂️

@@whitejodeci8926 I'm 1 month post op now. Mine was a three day process to extract/implant 3000 grafts to the hairline/frontal area (1000 grafts per day). I'm sure my doctor thought I was a crybaby during the numbing injections. The first day I didn't know what to expect so I sucked it up and gritted through it. The second day I gripped the armrests of the chair, held my breathe and told him to just do it and get it over with. By the end of the second day I was convinced I wasn't going back for day three. I was willing to spent the rest of my life with a f*cked up half done hairline just so I didn't have to take those needles again. 3rd day actually wasn't that bad though, I guess because my head was still partially numb from the two days prior. I have a year now to recover from the trauma before I go back to get the crown done. 😰😰😰

Bought an Amazon 10" foam wedge and your Cabeau. I'm only having temple areas so will try upright-ish leaning to side (or 45 degrees). My middle back hurts if I lie on it. Yikes! Does the donor area hurt if it is on the pillow? My doc says you can't damage that part but it will be sensitive.

Hey Amit. I love your videos! You documented and explained almost every steps that we can find our answers for our questions. I got hair transplant on 25th May, 2023 in Turkey, 5 days ago. I have two questions for you: 1- how did you deal with the donor area sensation? I am experiencing this pain after 3rd day of operation. 2- I would want to wear a stylish cap or hat after 3rd week of ops. Does wearing cap weaken or avoid growth of hair?
@amitposthair
@amitposthair Год назад
its tough! i honestly avoided wearing caps for the first 2 weeks at least, to let my new transplanted hairs breathe. Also because the donor area is still so sensitive, even for a hat. The sensation does go away after a while, and im sure by now for you its become a little better. When laying down use a satin textured neck pillow, that helps with the donor area much more then regular pillows in my opinion!

Hi Amit! I'm on my 11th day, would it be okay to sleep on my stomach and get my transplanted areas come contact with the pillow? I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and tend to press the pillow a bit hard on my sides and top of my head (i.e. transplanted areas). I'd really appreciate your opinion on this. Thank you!
