So I got tired of having to call and pay a pro each time I have an event. Sometimes as early as 5am just to make it in time for the event. I have never tied a gele in my entire life as a yoruba Nigerian, but guess what..I just watched ur video, picked up my gele against a wedding next weekend and boom in 2 tries I have an almost professional looking tie..Thank you so much for sharing! Nigerian women are so beautiful, coming from a gorgeous black American young woman myself, might I add. but this is not about me, I just think their skin is so full of glow and intelligence. omg, the way they carry themselves, people in general are amazing, and fabulous in their own way, let me make that clear before I receive hate on commenting only on Nigerian women. But, when they wear those things on their head and put on makeup, it makes them look royal, like a queen. Strong, full of power and confidence about their appearance. I mean I love it. I'm glad I got the chance to see her make one, didn't realize they do that way, it looks difficult to do but she made it look easy.

dis luvly...but my problem in tieing gele is,when am about to tie d two ends of d gele,,everything just pulls off..and i always sweat profusely whenever am tieing it,,making d whole thing so hectic for me...pls put me through beauty..thanks...i have saved ur video offline, so anytime d need arises,,it will b so easy for me

Thanks for your beautiful tutorial, face and spirit.. I tie ALL my gele myself... I pray about it but clinically I don't see well even with glasses on because I am acutely/severely shortsighted (registered...!).- I cannot/do not need the use of a mirror because I am unable to see anything anyway, like having the opportunity to correct flaws in the pleats since my glasses have to be taken off, so I conduct from memory/inner sight ... BUT (gratefully) you have made it simpler and given me more and renewed confidence to manoeuvre and be better creative. Thanks beautiful princess. Keep it up. God bless you...xxx

Hi Bella Thank you very much for the Gele tutorial. I can tie Gele but not very good with the pleats, your tutorial has given me the confidence and know how to do it. Perfect. May I suggest using the word pull instead do draw & the drop back you can call flaps. Many thanks Marble girl.

Hello beautiful you’re so creative I’ve never watched you do this and I love it though I don’t see myself managing that at all. I do watch you transforming people on makeups and wigs etc, I keep thinking how do I get to her as I’m less able and I can not walk 50 metres before I feel the need to stop, perhaps if I lived in London areas I would drive to you, unfortunately I can not drive more than 10 miles and I’m in Oxford I wish I could make it as my skin is horrible

I have a question, can I wear a Gele with a plain chiffon dress? I'm in a wedding & I'm the maid of honor in my best friend/male/groom wedding and he's half Nigerian. so to honor his mother & him I asked the bride(who made me her maid of honor) can I wear a Gele. So I am asking can I wear a Gele without having on African garments? I did it one time & I think ppl we're talking about me... No I'm not African(I do have a % in me, I don't know) but can I?
