Reversing the video to emphasize parts of the process was effective. I usually have to rewind a few times to fully grasp the information so that was cool of you. Appreciate the upload 😁

Hi Matthew. I hear you talking about the "large connected shapes" and things of some sort with shapes, but yet can't understand what you're referring to...

You kept a small part unpainted, I mean white behind the bigger tree while you put bluish green horizon. Does it make that part brighter - a technique or Was it just unintentional?

If you notice, the tree he painted on top of that white area was warmer and more brown. The blue wash would have interfered with that color if he hadnt left it empty
