Your work is Very beautiful. May I ask what kind of fabric you are working on? Most of the information I have on European tambour embroidery talks about silk organza. Beautiful but not practical. Aari embroidery (I hope I got the name right) seems like it is both beautiful AND practical. At least more wearable and comfortable than some of the European stuff. This looks like it might be a dense but fine twill weave? Thanks for taking the time to share with us.
