Thank you and we are glad you enjoyed the video. I do not have video for drainage tray as we do not use them. Our succulents are mostly outside so water just flows freely to the ground. I make some concrete trays but mostly for my candles as trinkets. Haha. But if you have the moulds for the tray, it should work exactly the same, just remember to really shake well so there will be less air bubbles. Thanks

Hi. If I use them for plants, I do not seal them as I want them to be as porous as possible.. But if you need to seal them, you can use one for pots and ornaments.

I have a question, when my molds are all done, the top or rather, bottom of the vase is very irregular even if I put a decent ammount of concrete. it is also a 3 day drying concrete. how do you avoid it getting so rough? I'm thinking mine just drink up a lot of the water and it gives it that irregular finish...? any help?

oh, I make sure to wiggle it when it's wet so there are no air bubbles

Hello! :) we usually tap the mould multiple times to achieve a level surface, which also allow the air bubbles to go up and released.. if your mix doesn’t have a lot of water, you just have to tap it longer to achieve a flatter surface.. also suggest to pour in the mix by parts (for smaller moulds, 1/3 parts works for us, or 1/4 parts for bigger moulds) then tap it before the next part to allow the mix to settle in properly. :)

Hi. So sorry I missed your comment. We use white cement, the usual cement. You can usually fin them next to each other in a trade shop.

Hi Christine. We just bought them from Ebay. just searched silicon pot mould and all of them will appear in all shapes and sizes.. They are all from China so if you search with Wish or Aliexpress, you will definitely find some too.. They are not expensive.. Have fun creating your pots..;)

I bought a cement pot...no drail hole.. So which succulents would be ok without drainage?? Or should i just use it as a cover pot??

Hi Michelle, you can plant any succulent in pots with no holes but you will really need to ensure not to overwater. Alternatively, you can also add in some holes. ;)

Hi Marta Joy, I am not sure anymore of the links for the molds. We bought these via Ebay. You can try searching for silicon molds and heaps will appear. usually they come from China. Have a go and hope this will work well for you. Cheers. - Leslie

yes, we wash them but the seal will be depending on what we use them for. If putting in candles, we seal them. For succulents, we don’t so they can remain as porous as possible..

Hi @Ritisah Peerthy, we found from experience that concrete mix with high ratio of cement tends to crack easily. you may wish to try different ratio of cement and aggregate (eg. sand) and find the best mix (as this depends on the quality/type of cement as well). all the best! 😊

Hi! Thanks for the enquiry. We changed the brand of our cement now (as compared to the video) and What worked for our products now is 3 parts sand and 2 parts cement. :)
