That’s exactly what I was going to say, but good thing you commented it. If would’ve done those iconic moves I know he would’ve nailed it and it would’ve been perfect!
I haven't seen Derek dance 70's music, this was a first. He really brought that style back to life. It felt like I was watching the movie again...mission accomplished I suppose :)
This was not the 70s dancing. And Travolta still outnumbers him as a dancer in this number. I was very disappointed in Derek. But I guess he doesn’t have all the smooth moves lol! ❤️
@@LindaLaurenPsychicMedium Travolta definitely was on fire in SNF. He definitely has some great dance skills with the right movies (Grease, Pulp Fiction). There are times that his dancing is uninspired (not always his fault) like in Staying Alive (he wasn't a good enough trained dancer) or Michael (just a bad movie) - and then Urban Cowboy is somewhere in the middle. But you can't fault him in SNF (or Deney Terrio's epic choreography and teaching Travolta.)
I’m afraid that John Travolta was way more smooth, this all looks too much effort and frantic in places. NOT the style of the movie. ( I’m a great fan of Derek, but just feel this was misjudged )
You're welcome, I only wanted to upload the Dirty Dancing one, but so many people requested the rest of the clips, I just had to do it. And yes, I made 4 Chenford edits so far, I've been a huge shipper since the beginning.❤
It was a TV dance special last year starring Derek Hough and his sister Julianne. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4YAZjv9Ykoc.html It's called "Step Into The Movies", you can find the dance numbers here on RU-vid.
