Obviously he is. People wanted to treat him like trash when he already said he was tryna do better. People saying he was making excuses but when I heard him speak, he sounded like he had empathy and his reasons. If his job is in the entertainment industry, it really is hard to keep up. Instead of knocking him, he sounded like he would’ve done even better with 50/50 positive and negative evaluations instead of 10/90. He sounds like somebody who was probably absentminded rather than being a deadbeat. It’s kinda like when people are depressed and can’t seem to help themselves out of their depression without a gentle push. He may have genuinely been struggling and now after he finally got a stabilized living like he said, he has become a “better” father

This show be having the habit of absolutely chewing out good and/or redeemable men who seem to have very little in their lives. They call them bums and deadbeats despite the fact they have personalities where you can see a seed of potential growth. Instead women just bash them for the dumbest reasons and then wonder why they continue to be single mothers

The first story, I think the mother just needs to get the father on the books for child support, whether he pays it or not, and should do her best to be a single mother. She had a child with a bum who has nothing but excuses. He didn't show emotion for his daughter's letter because he doesn't care about her.

Not always true. Y’all are just jealous. When I missed my uncle that passed away at age 7 I wrote a beautiful poem for him and said a prayer at his funeral and still have it in a frame. I have nieces and nephews that have great vocabularies since they were younger than this child in this video. Starting at age 4 -6 as well as my children. You’re just hateful and jealous cause your kids aren’t just as smart. Four of my husband and I children has been skipped 2 grades😂😂. About to finish school early. My nieces and nephews same way. So jealousy gets you all nowhere 🤷‍♀️😂😂😂🤦‍♀️.

Girl my sons dad was only there for three of my sons birthdays. Seen his dad maybe 10 times...last time on his 16th birthday. My son is 22. I am not begging no one. The one thing he did do was pay child support, which i used for private school and when I took my son out of private school so he can start his 9th grade year. That chid support was in savings every month. Now, at 22, my son has a healthy bank account. I did what i needed to for my son. Will never beg.

My granddaughter is 9 and can articulate her words in a mature way. Stop understanding estimating these babies' ability to be expressive. Pain brings out the deepest feelings. She may have had assistance, but I do believe those are her words. Just the little girl inside me who wrote a similar letter to my God when my father wasn't there. IJS

I’m so incredibly grateful my dad has always been present and active in my life. He’s also been happily married to my mom for over 30 years and he treats her like an absolute QUEEN. I remember as a child him coming to my school events, dance recitals, parent conferences, etc. In my teenage years, he would take my sister and I on dates so we can know how a man is supposed to treat a woman. He’s just that dude!!! Now as an adult, I know if I call him he’s dropping EVERYTHING to come see about me. I’m so blessed.🥺 I truly hope he steps up to the plate and shows up for his daughter. The situation she was born in is not ideal but hopefully the mom learned something about having a child with a loser.

I’m so grateful I had a wonderful dad and an amazing stepdad. Someone said put him on child support. Child support is more than money, just because you put a person on financial child support doesn’t mean he will do it

@@fdozi5801SOME States and Counties in those States don’t go after deadbeats. I’m in PA and my local Domestic Relations office did NOTHING. He didn’t show up for court 7 times, never paid support. Some parents just move around to avoid getting hit with support and they don’t care.

I can tell you right now around that age I made a letter to my birth giver on my own. You can’t say she didn’t write it. She maybe got help on how to make it sound a little better. But that’s probably all. She’s clearly very smart and feels a lot like they said. So she’s gonna say what she gotta say even if it’s in a letter. I’ve done it myself.

Thank God for my parents that raised me and my 3 sisters. They were married 33 years before my dads death. I grew up always knowing what a great relationship looks like.😊 Iam now married myself for 21 years to an amazing man with two beautiful children. Thanks mom and dad.

I wish my mom would’ve told me from the beginning that my father was trash. Instead, she let me call and beg this man for attention until he finally told me to stop calling him because I was making his new wife upset. I was 9 years old. I feel like the mom is portraying her feelings into that letter ain’t no way the child wrote the letter and the ending of the letter “ I don’t want you to bring up this letter because it would be awkward” this mom still has some hurt feelings towards this man and she’s pushing it through the child no 7 yr old child would’ve wrote a letter like that. Lord…first segment. Poor decision making on BOTH sides. Their first mistake was planning for a child without any financial stability. Y’all were going to visit his mother…on the greyhound. Unless you both have a fear of flying, I’m assuming you couldn’t afford plane tickets. Hint #2: neither one of you had a car. His friend had to drive yall to your doctor’s appointments. Why would y’all get together and then decide to bring a child into a situation where you can barely take care of yourselves. He reminds me of my sorry child's father. When he turned his back to the child's mother, Karamo is right, he is in defense mode. Not about the child! He thinks he is hurting the mom and forgetting the baby girl. He is showing signs of a narcissist. Narcs have a switch and can turn off their emotions...even for their own child. The child is an object. She has to do the rock method. Show him no attention, try her best to raise her child and choosing the right partner to be around her child. An inconsistent dad is more dangerous than an absent one.

The father himself did not doubt that it was written by his daughter. He did say that she is exceptionally emotionally savvy. Don't underestimate children. My son once told me that a friend of ours 'is trying to take daddy away' when he was around 6-7 years old. Turned out he was right. He noticed a bunch of stuff that I hadn't.

@@Acadia26 as I stated in my comment she either expressed this to her mother and the mom wrote it but respectfully I said what I said not underestimating her that's why I asked what age is she but if you're listening to the mom throughout this whole dialogue she is the more emotional and hurt and honestly they are both there sitting there debating about their own private issues that have nothing to do with the child and that letter sounds more emotionally personal especially when she said at the end don't say anything about it Dad it's going to seem awkward long story short it just seems like she knows how her daughter feels and she wrote it in her own words with a little bit of her feelings attached to that letter as well

I can’t understand why this man can’t see that his daughter really loves and needs him. You can tell he just doesn’t care ( give a dam) My daughter is 34 years old her father was not in her life, he didn’t give a toss till he got ill and wanted her to see him. She was only 19 yrs old when he died and she didn’t recognise her own father in the coffin. Please men if you don’t want a child don’t mention it, don’t plan it and play house. The only person who will suffer here in the future is his little daughter, she deserves so much more. Wake up man!!

Bro is stuck on the last 30 days when he’s had 8 almost 9 YEARS of shyt behavior and wants a gold medal and treated like a king for it. Yes, great job you paid child support this month and started calling her, but was it because he knew he was coming on the show and would be blasted or did he do it because it’s right? he is not a bad father...shes a wonderful mother. I would not say he wasnt crushed by the letter. hes a man. hes not gonna drop down on the floor and ball.. i dont see why hes so against the mother she opens all doors for him to deal with his daughter even though he is not financially helping. some women u cant see that child if u not helping and even if they let u see the child they gone tell the child the wort about the father and be dropping nasty comments. thats woman is doing everything prob even hiding crap he does so her daughter wouldnt be hurt. i think they can work it out he just needs to move his focus from the mother and how she feels about him cause whatever she feels about him he made it so and their aim is their common goal...their daughter..everything else should be made second in addressing

Hello Sir, As I listen to this young lady, it brought back memories as I was bringing up my girls, but I’m grateful that my son Dad was in his life as he is trying to be in his children life. There’s no one perfect however, ever he gives his best. I don’t know what’s going on with his youngest daughter, mom and him, but she never includes him in no type of school activities. Also, she was send message through my grandchild., instead of her taking to him.Yes, a child; for instance she had it incident during the summer and she did not tell my son, my granddaughter’s father and the way he found out she had a child to ask for money. yes this is very personal. Yes this a situation that need to be in your presence it gets to me because my granddaughter is very talented and I believe it’s hurting her because she don’t wanna choose sides. However, all I do is tell my keep loving her let her know that he’s in her life and be there for her when she needs him.
