I have met gold-diggers that have no trouble finding victims. If a woman is their type, the facts don't count, they overlook things. I've seen women act like simps too to be fair. There is always a simp around who doesn't do his research. My friend once invited me to go to a hot tub. She introduced her gold-digger friend. The gold-digger was not pretty, just a plain, middle-aged woman who was a little overweight. She married a Chinese guy who owned hotels. The gold-digger invited her latest boy toy to join us, but thankfully he declined. We all drank frou frou drinks sitting in the hot tub at this hotel. I got a migraine, since this made me sick. Anytime she was held accountable or told no - she'd cut her arm up and demand to go to the ER. Her mom lost jobs because of lack of sleep because SD would wait for her to go to sleep for 45 mins before pulling her stunts. Example - I was shooting a wedding (photographer) and her mom was going to assist. Came over the night before and we went to the rehearsal. Phone rings - where are you. At the rehearsal dinner for the wedding tomorrow. Oh can I come? No, it's a work thing. THATS NOT FAIR THAT IM NOT INVITED! Back and forth till the convo over. She took a handful of pills and demanded her mom come home and take her to the er (2 hrs away). She got pissed off that the police was Called and she was held for 72 psyche hold. She got to the point she rated the psyche wards based on amenities (like fucking hotels). It was nothing but a power play. She didn't care about physical pain or scars, she just wanted to make her mom and I jump. Really condensed version, I could go on for hours.
@@tracygardner6318 it's good. Part of the issue was that there were younger kids than her - and I wanted to make sure they didn't get fucked over because of her. This was when she was 14 or so. She's now 20/21 and out of the house. The younger kids are better now she's gone. It's been a rough ride, but admittedly self inflicted.
First you have recognize the abuse. If you do not grow up with it takes time to recognize it. Some abuse is subtle and takes time realize what is happening. Then to know how and what to do to end it, or get away from it.

The moment I see a large sum like that come out ($500 is my notification limit), I'm investigating. If I'm about to make a $500+ purchase, I'm telling my husband so he doesn't freak out with the same notification. If I were in OP's shoes, I'd transfer most of my money from that shared account to a new account, take my name off the shared account, name the wife as primary, and tell wife I don't trust her spending habits. She's now in charge of that account and is required to pay the internet, cable, and whatever, non-life-threatening-if-not-paid bills that exist. I'll make my contribution via direct deposit once a month, wife and step makes theirs. Then it's dine. If they want money, it comes directly from that account. They're in charge of their own budget.
I can't feel bad for anyone who allowed themselves to be treated that way. He could have and should have stopped those women from walking all over him like that. After the first wedding I wouldn’t have paid for the second one when it didn’t even last half a year or at the minimal I would’ve had the mother/step-daughter sign a contract that the step-daughter and mother would be held financially responsible for all costs incurred for the wedding and the newly wed couple after the wedding if the wedding didn’t last at least 5 years along with the NDA that neither of them can inform the husband about it at all to try to hold onto the marriage or dissolve It depending on his feelings based on what may occur in the future. If they aren’t willing to sign it then OP should’ve gotten a divorce and especially right after his business burnt down (I wouldn’t be surprised to see the wife/step-daughter actually burnt it down in a fit of rage as revenge for not just instantly siding with them giving them everything they felt they where deserved.) and neither one of them even seemed to be the least bit worried even though OP was sole provider and his method of income was destroyed would make anyone with common sense or a heart know that he couldn’t help them in to at situation. They didn’t care if he lost their house because at that point the wife would divorce and try to demand alimony from OP through trying to play the victim as she did many times in the story.
Jfl’disheartened they wanted him to pay for 3 weddings in 3 yrs. INSANE. With each of our 4 kids when they announced they wanted ti get married we explained that 1/3 of the wedding we’d pay. 1/3 was paid by the s in others family and 1/3 They were responsible for. This included the rehearsal and the dinner following. And everything that was included For the actual day. The only thing I myself bought was her dress and my mom had actually allotted money for that in her will. But the dress and veil could not go over $4000.00. Privately we told each child we pay for 1 wedding. If something happed and they divorced the next one was their responsibility. With the exception if they were widowed vs divorced. My daughters wedding is Aug 6th of this year and will have about 350 people invited. A large percentage is his family and will be held at their estate. Luckily his foamy realizes I’m on disability and just spent 45 days straight the ;hospital and had 4 surgeries and my family is blessed I am still here on earth. And that my husband works as a blue collar worker in a steel mill So the soon to be grooms family picked up a majority of our part. Which I am so greatfull. So what I am trying to say is these kids need to know from the start you will pay for only 1 wedding.
This girl is rushing into marriage and not taking any time to get to know her bridegroom. Having to save for the wedding would at least give them both opportunity to get to know each other before making such a big commitment.

Why didn't OP have insurance on his store? I don't think he was FORCED to do anything. Did they put a gun to his head? I understand the 1st wedding, but taking a mortgage out on the house, for the 2nd wedding? He could've said no. 2:00 in and my first thought is, the wife scouted OP as the perfect husband replacement. Then creates circumstances for him to fall for her, agree to everything he says, join him wherever he is. Learns the weaknesses. Gets hitched, drains the money slowly. Daughter learned for a good future you need money, you don't have to love them, just sap them dry. Happened to her daddy, now her step dad. Kids learn through watching, they mimic behaviour. We don't stop learning as adults either. You pay for the first and only marriage. Anything past that is a Vegas Wedding if fancy or at the local courthouse. Which my youngest brother did and then a had a simple wedding reception for family and friends to go to. My mom got married 3 times. To my Dad when I wasn’t alive yet. They got divorced when I was around 18. The second time was legal I thing. It was just them. He ended up dying a number of years later and she remarried once again and it was just them. The 3rd once died a couple years ago. It’s all by cancer. I didn’t meet these 2 men until after they were married. I would never take out a mortgage for a wedding. Never go in debt over a wedding. The money would be better spend on a down payment on a house then sone huge one night wedding. So many of these huge weddings don’t even last.

There isn't a single bank on the planet that will give him a large loan, if he has no means of generating income. The Collateral of a house, offers no guarantee of getting their money back, since they would have to spend years in the foreclosure process, with all those fees and lawyer costs, and not getting paid. 3. There is no way he could kick them out in the end. They were legal residents in the home; they had a right to be there. 4. No, the charges he filed do not exist, not in the US. He WILLINGLY took out the loan, when he didn't have to. It is a fair Lifetime Movie, but it's not real.
