My husband and I are really considering moving to Chicago in the Spring possibly but I hate all the moving everyone seems to do! Like when your lease is up, I get it if the cost goes up but by like $800😮😱They should want to keep there attendances.
I see in a lot of apartment tours that they always have a lot of hanging things and fixtures on the walls. Maybe its a dumb question but are you allowed to drill holes in the walls to hang stuff?
I'm moving into my own Chicago apartment soon and am wondering how people hang wall art and decor. Are properties okay with holes in the wall? do you just use a lot of command strips/sticky tape?
I have an apartment in Chicago and actually asked my landlord that question. She said it's fine to drill holes and hang stuff. In fact, looking at my walls, I can see where they patched previous holes where the previous residents hung stuff (there is a small bump under the paint).
