I mean he did break the scoring record but it’s true most of his career was with Cleveland or Miami . And amazingly and with help he won championships is he gonna get statues in those places as welll?
Pick the ones he had the most success in, aside from individual achievements, if he’s able to get his team(Lakers) atleast 2 more rings before retiring then I’d say he’d be cleared, oldest player in the league to get his team 3 rings as a Laker
@@OjedaAntonio no single player has ever won championships. teams win championships. jordan didn't do anything in the playoffs until he had a championship team.
@@anonymouscat1299 he’s been the captain of every team he’s been on and plays in every major/needed game so you must understand when I say if he’s able to get his team to those points of achievements
@@anonymouscat1299 mj needed Scottie as well as Scottie needed mj to win chips, just as Lebron needed dwade/bosh to win, kyrie in Cleveland, or in a lakers pov Kobe needing Shaq to 3 peat, along with every important player in that roster/coach
If he sits out and let's his team take over, prolly yeah. Without him, they're 6-4 and beat the bucks and Celtics. Otherwise he ain't beating the nuggets
I think he should get one. He passed many Lakers on the Scoring List while wearing a Laker uniform. Won 1 ring and led 1 WCF appearance even though he's no longer in his prime. Vouched for by Magic AND Kobe. Why not? To see "Laker fans" discredit our 2020 ring, the ring we won and dedicated to Kobe's memory, is beyond sad man. None of yall are "real" Laker fans. Because if you were, you would've listened to Kobe when he said to embrace LeBron because "Once a Laker always a Laker". A real shame that hate for one man can blind so many.
@@speedboy7349I agree with you, I'm a LeBron fan, but you gotta understand, a statue symbolizes so much stuff. Everyone statue worthy, Kareem, Kobe, Jerry, etc, they've all been on the Lakers for a majority of their life and won chips in the process, changed the franchise somehow, when you think of their greatest years, their peak, you think of them with a Lakers jersey on. As a LeBron fan, when I imagine LeBrons greatest years, his peak, it's with a Cleveland jersey, not Lakers. That's his home, he only ever left to secure his legacy because he was getting no help, but if he simply had good support he would still be on that team to this day. It's a no brainer.
I'm a LeBron fan even tho I have him 2nd behind MJ. He does not deserve a statue in LA. Heck, most Laker fans think Pau Gasol would deserve one before LBJ. He does deserve to have his # in the rafters
Bron has 1,400 more Points. 1,100 more Assists, 1,500 less Rebounds but Gasol played 7 total years and LeBron is on his 6th. James has 100 fewer games and with 4,000 fewer minutes than Gasol.
jordan was never held to this high of a standard in washington. why are we acting like a 39 year old lebron can perform exactly the same as a 26 year old lebron.
Lebron won a championship for LA since Kobe did and y’all are saying he doesn’t deserve a statue!!!! Laker fans deserve every loss they get this season
@@dahney808 Talk about just straight dickriding someone. They've done more and are deserving of the statues. How are you going to destroy your own argument but still think he should have a statue in L.A.? Go sit down somewhere, you just being foolish.
He doesn't because he did bring LA a dynasty. He didn't bring any franchise to a dynasty, he barely brought his name a dynasty 3ships in 6 years is the key.
Listening to this “in this run he had 3 playoffs 2 conference finals and 1 championship” I might not be the smartest but those number equal 6 nd at the rate Stephen explained with that quote alone exactly y Bron getting one in LA 😂💯✍🏽🙌🏽
This is the era of ring chasers. Players and teams don’t wanna go thru the growing pains of actually building something from the ground up. That’s fine, but IMO the rings and the championships don’t have the same legitimacy or prestige as building it. It’s the times we live in. Instant gratification. Put your statues wherever you want, it either means something to you or it doesn’t.
He only left Cleveland first for the Heat as he wanted the money. He came back won a championship then left for the lakers as it was always his dream to play for them. Like it was Kobe's dream to play for the bulls, Kobe didnt fulfill that ambition because the bulls were just so terrible. James did, but his time at Cleveland should never be forgotten, he'll want to be a legend at Cleveland.
I’m a bron fan. Die hard fan. 28 years old so I grew up a fan. And I have to say it should be in Cleveland. An argument could be made for Miami too because he did elevate south beach definitely should hang his jersey in Miami. But a statue and a jersey hanging up in Cleveland is the appropriate place for the king. He spent most of his career in Cleveland and has done more for that team and Ohio’s economy that he should definitely get a statue and a jersey up in the rafter.
how does this so-called "GOAT' lose 6 times in the finals with the easier conference every year. MJ, Kobe, then Bron for me. MJ never lost a finals. Kobe went to 3 straight finals without Shaq and with 0 Top 75 players on his team and won back to back against the toughest western conference we have seen in decades. Wade and Bron saw Kobe win his 5th and decided to make a super team which shows how much they feared Kobe. You can even go watch the 2012 and 2013 Allstar game when Kobe and Lebron when head to head in Lebron's prime (both having the best teammates in the league NO EXCUSES) and watch the results. This random media run for Lebron is hilarious acting like true ball fans don't see through it😂 Mind you Lebron is the only "perfect" A-List celebrity with no scandals. Everyone and I mean everyone who has made it as far as Bron in fame or money, has had a scandal of media trying to burn their name except him. Lebron is the perfect puppet I guess 🤣
@@OMAR-vk9pi the eastern conference was never a harder playoff run then the western conference since the 2000s-2010s til even now... go watch soccer Omar
Love bron but no statue in LA just purely based on talent nd play yes but it would be disrespectful to the legends of LA legacy nd wat they brought Cleveland nd Miami 100% shit Cavs need to give that man as many as he want
Jordan took off at least 4.5 years between his two retirements. If Jordan wouldn't have retired twice and the bulls had stayed together. No one would give a damn about LBJ
@@yungslic5363 yep and that is as far as stats even matter. Doesn't change the fact that LBJ simply isn't as skilled, has not won and will not win, more than Jordan. LBJ flops, dislodges players, travels, plays in an era where there is no defense and he jumps from team to team. I could go on. I guess he is somewhere in top ten but the debate has wasted so much time throughout the years. It's truly funny. Even Kobe is better.
Why would they put a statue of is LeBron James in La so we can get destroyed I'm going to spend all that money and it's going to be vandalized the next day😂😂😂😂
If LeBron gets his 5th Championship Ring in a Lakers uniform... LeBron will get a statue in L.A. Miami and Cleveland... And I don't even care for the guy all super crazy. It's politics!!
He’ll get his jersey retired. But no statue. They won’t miss out on the opportunity to put a player of his caliber next to the other greats that have played for the Lakers. I wouldn’t be shocked or upset if AD got his jersey hung either especially if he plays for them after Bron is gone.
@@melvinhhcp3615well yeah but like people will remember him on the lakers, but remember Kareem,Kobe, magic More than him and More laker superstars bigger than him (just an opinion)
He needs at least one more to even have it considered for a vote. But lakers franchise has too many greats. Thats the curse he has to deal with by switching teams. Maybe in Cleveland he’ll get it. Are he’ll put one outside the arena of the Vegas team he’s going to own in 2030
@@calebreign864999 was more respectable. 99 was a short season but the playoffs and finals was the same as any other year. The bubble was something else, completely incomparable to 99 playoffs. If you wanna compare anything to the 99 season it's the 2012 short season which lebron benefitted from again. Lebron got two short season rings; only player in NBA history to do it.
@@calebreign8649 The point is, it's not comparable at all to the 99 ring, not even close. I'm a Lakers fan since 98, I don't count the bubble chip and neither does anyone outside of the LeBalco fan-base. As far I know, we haven't won a championship since 2010.
@@differentsame9402 if you don't count it you are not a real lakers fan and the bubble was just like any other nba championship each team played 72 games the lakers were the 1st seed and it was more fair then any other chip no noise no advantages and LeBalco really don't be a child you just mad he's all natural and you not build like that
I’m the biggest Kobe fan but if Lebron got another title in LA I’d say he’s worthy. But I don’t think you can retire 23. It should be retired a crossed the league like JRob was
I'm pretty sure he would rather it be in Cleveland because it's close to where he was born and raised and it means so much to him in many different ways at the same time I'm just trying to figure out why he is so pressed with the person SMH like it's never ending
This is so disrespectful allow the brother to play basketball At the end of his career let faith decides But some of this pundit just like to ignite drama.
Definitely not LA lmao. I guess Cleveland, but the truth is Kyrie deserves one just for the game winning series clinching shot that changed the history of the franchise. You can’t give Bron a statue and then leave out that it was Kyrie who actually bucked up and won the chip. Lebrons relationship with the Cavs is weird because he left twice and has a bad relationship with Dan Gilbert. If Lebron gets a statue and the game winner from Kyrie gets swept under, this’ll be the new Scottie versus MJ in 20 years. Kyrie wont be able to live that down, that was game 7 win or go home and he was the one who sealed it. It’d be in much better taste to give Lebron a singular statue, and make another statue for their first championship team with Kyrie, Bron, and love.
Yes it should break Kareem’s scoring record and hitting 40k in a lakers jersey taking that team to the finals in win since Kobe retired yes put it in Cleveland, Miami,LA
He ain’t getting one for the lakers. At most a jersey retirement. For Cleveland he’s 100% getting one. And Miami, I dunno. I’d say a hard maybe on both the statue and jersey retirement.
