SAS was talking about his reservations to coach Tibs the other day because he actually watches more than just primetime NYK games. Media talking about this firing like they’ve watched EVERY game from start to finish from October to season end. Real fans know the deal. It took him more than half the season to get the right starters in and reduce the time of others who were contributing minimally. That’s just one knock on him. Yeah the players could’ve played better but Ham was not good.

Acts as GM and coach, decides on who to fire, decides on who's on the roster, and if It does not work out - Blame and fire them All, except me (the acting GM). or else I leave the team! 13. Had some narcissistic or megalomania tendencies, always referring to himself as King and self proclaiming himself as "the GOAT", "the Chosen1" and "the best player in the world" on numerous occasions. And many other not so pleasant acts, attitudes and proclivities. I’m a lebron fan but this is jsut what happens when you’re a coach for a guy of this caliber. Expectations and pressure is set upon them immediately even when it’s not fair or your fault at times. Darvin wasn’t completely at fault but he was apart of the reason. His rotations and lineups were confusing at times but the Role players continued to not show up during the big games as well

What these “analysts” and journalists won’t tell you is that when the Lakers ran and organized offense they were almost unbeatable. The problem is that they did it at 50% or less in a lot of games and for when it counted in the playoffs. That is absolutely on the coaching staff.

Man all these clowns need to shut up. From Draymond, to Reggie Miller, to Stephen A. I had to watch almost every Lakers game this season and deal with his non-existent coaching. Horrible lineups, no ability to make in-game adjustments, can't design a play to save his life, has pre-determined subs, has no ability to sense momentum shifts to call a timeout, unable to utilise the role players efficiently and so many other reasons. Almost every loss this season can be attributed to at least two of those factors. Are you telling me everything I saw was a hallucination or something? Or that I existed in a different reality? These guys don't watch any Lakers games whatsoever and instead of addressing the issue with Ham, they play the whataboutism card. Stop insulting us fans that have put up with watching this team for 82 games. The players are definitely accountable to some degree, but Ham is still BY FARRRRRRRRRRRRR the #1 problem. Honestly all Lakers needed was a good coach and a centre and I truly believe they would have taken Nuggets to 7 games.

Darwin Ham rushed to be the head coach of a most championship winning team in the NBA. It used to be where one needed seven years of assistant experience to get hired for a big time program.

Rob Pelinka tore their championship team, right after they won. It's the same formula that Denver & Minnesota currently use btw. But part of the coaching job is accountability whether it's fair or not. They're the ones who goes out first.
