I grew up a kobe fan, but for the past 5 or 6 years Kawhi has been my favorite player in the league. Giannis is probably who will be my next favorite, but cmon my guy Kawhi hasn’t done enough yet to be in talks as more clutch than Kobe. He hasn’t had nearly the same amount of moments to make that claim. Efficiency and clutch are not the same thing.

Let’s take this for example, Deandre Jordan is a very high percentage scorer mainly because he hangs around in the paint and dunks a lot so his FG% is fairly high maybe in the 60s. Matter of fact let’s take that year Deandre Jordan made that one lucky shot clock three that kept his 3pt percentage at 100% the whole year and compare that to KD the same year who I believe was dropping about 50% fg, in the high 30% from 3pt range. Percentage wise, Jordan is better but does that necessary make him the better player? The question that was asked was if Kawhi is a better player under pressure than Kobe was & that’s false because you need to a certain extent a body of work that proves it. Yeah w.e Kawhi’s percentages may look great but the same goes for someone who goes 3/5 in the clutch compared to someone who goes 10/20
