@@jjm2682 I watched him through his time at SU and am an avid Knicks fan. I don't forget anything. But he was never a Top 5 player in the league. Top 5 scorer, sure, you could argue that. But he vanished on defense and wasn't great in transition. Look, big Melo fan, but let's just be real with the dude's game. There are at least five players better at him during his peak in the league. And that's not insulting the dude. He came up with KG, Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Dirk, KG, etc etc etc in the league with him. Just is what it is.

@@imanya552 You can't suddenly become a 41% 3PT shooter (btw that's a 14% improvement from his 27% 3PT shooting last year) just playing 5-6 more minutes a game? I'm sorry but you're wrong. He definitely improved in all facets of the game aside from that 3PT shooting, including defense (RAPTOR agrees), his assist numbers doubled, his turnover rate is the same considering he got more minutes, and a lot more. That's more of Randle putting work combined with better coaching. Definitely MIP, and can't be mad if he ended up at least top 5 MVP convo too. It's not just minutes, man.

To SAS... that is sad breaking news. Realizing his Knicks can’t get Zion, and he’s never getting over that. Because Zion flat out was one of the few (in a long time) who wanted to play there badly! Zion is going to be greater than anyone when he fully develops that midrange. He’s got Shaq’s dominance, and is scratching the surface of Kobe’s work ethic. Only injury & possibly Luka can stop this man from not surpassing every NBA great! They almost made the playoffs 2 years in a row, and the team is crazy inconsistent outside of Ingram & Zion.
