rod2467 You want a QB who is highly intelligent, not some dumbass. QB is just as much about the mind as it is about the physical talent. It is an important consideration when evaluating QBs. Are you new to football?

Matt Centeno no but listen to most professional athletes talk, they are very diligent in diverting direct questions. Not sure if it’s what was told to them by teammates or coaches, but most of them come off as meat heads who don’t have basic communication skills. Are you new to football???

It is from a game plan perspective. Yes, RGIII had great legs but you don't put your QB in harm's way intentionally. You run QB draws for short yardage situations or to diversify your offense...not to gain 17 yards on 3rd down. That's preposterous.

nahor88 Oh he was placed in the right system, he just never adjusted his game to the NFL level, what he did in college, he did in the pros UNTIL TEAM'S ADJUSTED TO HIM. Then he got injured, then low & behold his weakness of being unable to read defenses, inability to pocket pass, etc, all were exploited. Which is why Cousins adjusted quite well, not nearly as athletic or fast, however he could read defenses better and was a traditional pocket passer.

Oh? And exactly WHO are YOU? Lies and all lies. I don't have time to debate you Kirk Cousins minions! I hope you sign your choker back to as much money as you can find!!! And then complain and get all your excuses ready because that is all I have been hearing for the last three years! When people think of cousins they always think of stats (albeit padded stats). When people think of real QB's they think of PLAYMAKING! Don't forget that while you overpay this QB who the team has gotten a WORSE record each and every year he has demanded MORE money! When you finally take him out of his training wheels offense then maybe you will see for yourself. So go 'TAKE A KNEE'.

Rg3 acknowledges the fact that he may have to settle for the backup Qb spot. But that’s just security for the coach to know you have someone who knows the field if you have to play him! Rg3 numbers are not that bad & he is a good sportsmen off and on the field! The only risk in taking someone like him is his injuries! Other than that rg3 does not bring any unnecessary attention to your organization! The guy is good! Lol

Well spoken. As a young man to another well spoken, well articulated. It isn't often for a young man of such caliber to be extended the opportunity to provide his side open air. Much success wished and well done i.e. perhaps forgo football and endeavor in more suited affairs considering your talents.

RGIII is too fragile for his style of QB play in NFL. Brees, Wilson other smaller/quick QBs either have laser accuracy (Brees) or can scramble & run or pass with high efficiency (Wilson) even Tyron Smith of the Bills knows this..... Rg3 placed himself out the league....

The fact that this dude wants to play in the NFL and can't find a job is mind-blowing. He's more talented than about half the QB's in our league today; factor in his experience and ability to be a locker room guy shows how shitty the NFL actually is. Smh at all the general managers who can't seem to get their head out their asses! That's what really grinds my gears

But just remember 1 thing you havnt...so just respect the fact that he is still learning and has time left in his career to make a mark on the game that non of the nay sayers will ever get a chance to bc their to busy watching from the sidelines bc their not talented enough to be in the game

The Shananhans sabotaged Robert Griffin III's career.
@itonlyhurtswhenyoulie
@itonlyhurtswhenyoulie 6 лет назад
I believe Mike Shanahan thought Robert Griffin III was getting big-headed and couldn't handle the fact that Griffin was the face of the franchise, ex., Griffin a very good relationship with Daniel Snyder, sponsorship deals left and right and led the 'Skins to an immediate playoff berth under him year one. Shanahan I think felt like the B-Side to Robert Griffin's A-Side and like Griffin had more sway with the owner than he did as an older, respected coach who won Super Bowls under John Elway. When Griffin was recovering from that knee injury, instead of bringing him along like you normally see with franchise QB's, the Shanahans threw Griffin to the wolves and had him taking crazy amounts of pass attempts, exposing him to the risk of re-injury. Keep in mind he was entering just his second year, but they had him passing as if he was an 8-year all-pro veteran who was long pass that learning curve that young QB's have to get pass. Always thought Shanahan had the perfect face to star as the devil in a bible-based movie...always red and evil-looking for no reason.
@bigeric1030
@bigeric1030 6 лет назад
ItOnlyHurtsWhenYou Lie I like this take very much. I always thought Shanahan wanted John Elway’s second coming and has destroyed just about every QB he’s coached since Elway retired, in one way or another.
