In 2005, Stephen A. Smith sat down with Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade on his nightly show “Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith.” #StephenASmith #NBA #ESPN
Yeah man I have a friend who's whole family is from Chicago and definitely sounds similar to this but there's is definitely thicker than Wade's was here. Love Chicago and St Louis accents haha
This--minus the audience, something resembling area21 with kg, where it's informal, there's physical movement with a court/turf, viewing of games with guests, trash talk, etc. I'd love to see a SAS show that had guests watching old and current games with greats like Jordan, Kobe, and LeBron and their comp, explaining what was going on, mistakes, background, trash talking on the floor, etc
I always had mad love for dwade even though kobe was my idol, the way wade carried himself and humble he was, yet how fierce he was on the court, the man is one of the greatest sg of all time!
18Dnick lemme catch you out in public lookin’ like you stuck in 03 and you gettin flamed on sight 😂 nobody wears XXL shirts and pants anymore weirdo. Get out the past.
CPGoat #3 exactly so he was prepared early on that’s why he reached post season success early he went deep into playoffs early second round first year. Second year conference finals third year finals
This man in my opinion was top 3 player almost his whole career. Oh and was considered the best for several of those yrs, despite legends playing same time. A few to name KOBE, LeBron, Duncan, Melo, Nash
I like the Chauncey Billups respect from Wade. People forget he was one of the best point guards of the 2000s. He was consistently good for pretty much the whole decade.
I wish Stephen A took all the interviews of NBA players. He is respectful and plus he is asking important questions which the other people maybe too afraid to ask and the questions which we as an audience are thinking. He also knows when to not cross boundaries which unfortunately a lot of interviewers today lack.
He’s still that same humble dude. U just don’t like that he stands up for gay people and wears what he wants. Tell it like it is if ur just gonna hate in the comments
I've always liked Wade's humility. He has this amazing aura of a great overall person. Like he's really talented and probably one of the best Basketball Players ever. I will always remember "THE FLASH"
The great Pat Riley stated back in 2006 that Dwyane Wade was the best player in the world. I’m sure that might have seemed like a bit of a stretch for some, but he was right 100% Heres why: in 2006, Dwyane wade (with an older Shaq) did what Kobe couldn’t, and that was beat the Detroit Pistons. Simple as that. Not only was he a personable guy and great team player as SAS pointed out, he truly had the talent to back it up and was unstoppable on both ends of the court. Even though injuries began to plague him after this time, he still managed to have an incredible career and definitely holds the title as 3rd best shooting guard of all time.
He could’ve been one of the greatest players to ever play the game had he not had injuries plaguing him prior to the NBA. And what he has done with injuries throughout his whole career is why he’s a top 3 player in his position at SG.
