The flaming red flag about this dude was when his quarterback had to get him to stop taunting fans during the SUPERBOWL. A guy like Vrabel would fit perfectly for the Eagles
Until they lose and they start booing him. Let's be honest, Philly fans are both terrible and great. They'll support you and throw you under the bus at the same time
@@spade565 they were booing him during this win... it was a terrible performance... should the fans cheer or just sit quiet when their team is playing like crap?
Nick had no business taunting fans after barely beating the BROWNS especially when you had 2 WEEKS to prepare for them. And I’m saying this a die hard Eagles fan. We are WAY BETTER than this.
We’re not better than anyone. Collapsed last season and this year looks more of the same. Ugly wins against bad teams and getting beat down by anyone else with a semi competent QB.
I couldn't help thinking while watching this game, did Andy Reid ever do this? Pederson? They won more than he did and Reid's teams are famous for being great after a bye, he's 27-4, hoping for 28 next week, I'm a Chiefs fan
So the fans get to yell at him and he can’t say anything back? Stop being a weirdo, paying a thousand bucks for a ticket so you can get drunk and yell at the coach. Find something better to do with your life.
@@tezzymane9337yes he's getting paid tens of millions of dollars. The fans are paying money. He is supposed to just take it. Get out of your middle school mindset. Why are you pretending like Sirrani is some part time coach who volunteered and doesn't get paid?
@tezzymane9337 tell me your a casual fan without telling me your a casual fan... fans were booing because you barely squeak a win past the browns. This guy trying to flex after that performance shows how out of touch of reality he is. Should have been gone after last season collapse... waste of a talented roster for 3 years now
Definitely what I was saying…her voice isn’t forced like mollys…and if they can replace Kim Martin with keeping her or using Elle Duncan instead of Kim or Cam Newton replacing Kim, I’ll be all for it
Love the passion Nick Sirianni is showing, but do you think taunting the home fans could backfire in a city like Philly? Would this kind of behavior fly in any other NFL city?
No way does he understand what "The City of Brotherly Love" really means. if we don't succeed past team goals for this season then We'll almost demand that he's replaced 🏈 🦅
His kids are almost always up there, win or lose. I imagine most of the ESPN crew don't watch a lot of Eagles press conferences. They're building a negative narrative out of his routine. I do think it's time for him to go. He can't fix the negative cloud that's hung over the team for over a year. They haven't looked good since the 2022 post-season. It's his job to fix it, and he hasn't. That said, I don't mind him talking trash at those fans. They heckled him, chanted for his firing, etc... all game. They're (arguably) grown adults. They'll be fine. It doesn't really matter to me how he looks to outside media; I like him. Ultimately, he needs to win or get lost, and it's nothing personal
@solidrockofjesuschristmini2: Nick Sirianni has always been a fiery guy, whether that’s the ideal trait of an NFL coach idk but he’s got his own flair to him.
@shiftymcgee9359: He might suck at it but you gotta give him credit, when he got the eagles job they had won 4 games & since have been to the playoffs every year under Sirianni, including the Super Bowl. I wonder if they can find their mojo again
It’s simple: some fans were chanting “Fire Nick”, and he talked back after the W. It wasn’t right but that’s basically the gist of it. That said, I’m not even an Eagles fan and I know playing and coaching in Philly ain’t for the faint of heart. And if you don’t have heart, they’re gonna drag you. Sirianni shouldn’t have taken the job if he’s gonna be sensitive.
I understand we as fans have no idea what was said. Did they bash his family? Did they give him death threats? Maybe- but his laughter and the team’s laughter showed that it was more light banter. That being said, why is this always what you have been worried about? Since The day he was hired he has cared about what the fans think of him. We want to be thought of, but go out, win games, and play the right way- that’s how you win us over. He’s become a distraction and managed games poorly. A great roster we have is being managed by an immature adult
I like the energy Sirianni has, ain’t nothing wrong with a little spice in our head coach but he has to read the room. We beat the 1-4 Browns by 4 points coming off a bye at home. We should be scoring 30+ points w the team we have not BARELY beating the worst team
It sucks that this is the biggest topic from this game for the media. Eagles had no business winning by only four points and only scoring 20. They don't look dominant at all, but Hurts needs to continue to play like he did in that game. 2 TD passes and 0 TOs for the first time in forever.
I’ve seen this guy interact with the fans before after a win, love how he brings his boy on stage with him to keep reporters from being too hard on him
Sirianni needs to be paying attention to what’s going on on the field and not taunting fans. I’d be looking for new head coach candidates. The Eagles players deserve better.
Coach made me laugh and they won no worries. His kids been up there with him. P.S. SAS’s birthday suit and tie combo is actually fire. Best fit he’s worn in a while.
Enough with the "These fans booed Santa Claus" It was December 15th 1968...... Its like blaming the Georgia fans for the Rebel Yell during the Civil War. Move on. The eagles fans are the best in the USA and they hold the millionaire players and coaches to a high standard. For many of these fans, the spend 20% of their after tax income for ticket and tailgates. Its a big deal.
I am an eagles fan but hoping a team loses to fire the coach is not a good look however Siriani should have kept his mouth shut and the kids shouldn't be at a press conference.
philly defense held them to 9 points, it was only close because of the block field goal. they played good enough yesterday. hope they build on that and play even better down the road
He taunted the fans cause his team didn't play well. Guess what all the sports talk show will be talking about Monday, not the team play but the coach's actions.
This is the equivalent of retail store GM mocking their customers. It’s not illegal or anything like that, he’s not hurting anyone but the behavior is just not something you expect from the leader of a group/organization. Sirianni is on the hottest of hot seats and his childish acts definitely do not help
I'm so sick of him. He's the most immature coach I've ever seen. You beat the Browns by FOUR POINTS and you're yapping at the fans like you won the SB. Continuously giving this team a terrible look.
As an eagles fan, he's always so arrogant and cocky, Hurts had to tell him to stop taunting during the SB we lost, horrible look for our franchise.. he needs to go.
Sirianni is a child. He heckled the fans in KC too. Dude, be an actual grownup head coach. Take a lesson from Andy Reid who thanks the KC fans after every game, home or away.
This kinda remind mfs me of an athlete who chased down her competition after the game was already decided and her team won the championship, but instead of celebrating with her team she chose to chase down the opposite star player to gloat on her face AFTER the game was done/ pretty much decided at that point
Now that this have been in the news for a week.... imagine how the next home game is gonna be. If they still announce who the head coach is.... he's gonna feel real small when they boo his name harder
Taunting any fanbase as a coach is wild, but to your own fans and philly fans at that is crazy. They booed santa, and when the wheels finally fall off they gone kick his back in
Nick has NO BUSINESS TAUNTING ANYBODY. Does he not understand the drama that the Eagles are facing?! Us as Eagles fans don’t know when to celebrate or flip out. It’s a bad look.
