I make it a point to talk to managers when these essential servicemen do well for me. Once at Bestbuy a manager asked me if their employee told me to do that: I was like... noo... I just appreciate him. At Target yesterday the acting manager was stand-offish until I told her I was just so happy with their employee going above & beyond for me. Was it really all that big of a deal? no he just showed me where the ramen was. I just want these people to get more recognition & hopefully a raise.

Shatner was making a joke by referencing an old b&w Twilight Zone episode. In the episode he was a passenger on a plane. But when he looked out on the wing, there was a creature looking back at him. The creature was sabotaging the plane, hence Shatner’s joke.

Dear Stephen, I am disappointed, when William Shatner said "I'm planning on putting my nose against the window [once I'm in space], and my only hope is I won't see someone else looking back." he was referencing the episode of "The Twilight Zone" episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" in which he played a passenger on an airline flight who is the only one to notice a hideous creature (Gremlin) wandering around the wing of the plane while it is in flight. What is going on? Are all your writers under 25 and/or have they never watch the original Twilight Zone series? Sincerely, Gazorbo

We get excited and learn not only did they pollute yet also bought off public officials in various agencies to basically steal resources and hide their wealth. Now we are mad and then have to ask the courts about the use those products only to get shot down. So we stop buying yet they change the company name. So we protest and they highjack the movement. And then a carrot is dangled in front of us with yet more distractions which end up spending tax dollars and making the very thing we don't want richer and more powerful.

I thought I would never be forgiven when I said a couple of years ago , I really like Seth Meyers, but man he needs to stop getting his jokes from the janitor".......Finally a few others quickly said they had felt that way for a while and maybe it was just them.......his staff is better now, and Seth's wit at poking fun when the joke sucks is brilliant. He just started clips on jokes to bad to do, but Stephen is awesome !

One of my favorite moments of FOX news was Hannity's complete 180 in the span of a couple minutes. Dismissing a story about Trump wanting to fire Mueller and all of his sources can't confirm that. Cut to commercial and then back to Hannity, who suddenly saying the story was confirmed, but then covers it with "isn't he allowed to do it?". And the quickly shift to a car chase video. Classic.

When William Shatner said "I'm planning on putting my nose against the window [once I'm in space], and my only hope is I won't see someone else looking back." is a reference to episode of "The Twilight Zone" episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" in which he played the only passenger on an airline flight to notice a hideous creature (Gremlin) wandering around the wing of the plane while it is in flight.

When William Shatner said "when I look out the window (of a rocket), I hope there's no one looking back," I assumed that was a callback to his classic Twilight Zone episode where he saw a weird monster while looking out the window of a plane, with the monster standing on the wing and destroying the engine. Stephen's writing staff, you get a C-minus for missing that opportunity. Sorry, tough but fair.

I remember my mother washing out dirty cloth diapers in our toilet, then hanging them outside to dry. A friend of mine tried doing that in the 1980s, but couldn’t stand it and switched to a diaper service.
