I watch games alone bro cuz almost all people watch only football/cricket here . But the energy that associated with basketball is so great and fun... it's impossible not to love steph curry. i'm from vancouver and i was a massive grizzlies fan when they were around. when they left for memphis, i hated the nba. hated that i lost my team. hated what the league had become. steph is the #1 reason my love for the game came back. he changed the way the game is played. i was always a fan of 3 point shooters and steph did it better than anyone... ever! even though i'm in canada, it was, for me, impossible not to cheer for the warriors when the rest of the country was cheering for the raptors.

The fact he was picked the 7th is so funny and sad at the same time because no one ahead of him is a multi-champion, and only unanimous MVP ever in the NBA! I'm so proud to be a Warriors fan. He made watching the game so much fun. and exciting! It's a testament to his soul how humble he is and he has the nerve to be nervous? well, the only people who are nervous are the players and teams who have to go up against one of the greatest dynasties whose leader is named Wardell Stephen Curry!!!

Let's talk about this man assurance before he got drafted, he's got pretty much the same mentality all along, and that's really inspiring

This came around the time I started following the NBA. I remember being hyped by a buncha guys from this draft: Tyreke Evans was putting up rookie numbers never seen since LeBron, Brandon Jennings had a 55-point game, Blake Griffin going ballistic on everybody during his "pseudo-rookie" year, Ricky Rubio finally heading over to the States to deliver crazy no-look passes... never would've thought that skinny kid with ankle issues in Golden State would actually be the one to change the way the game is played. 😄 (PS: I didn't follow college basketball at the time so I didn't know anything about Curry's wild Davidson career. 😄)

I'm sort of glad he didn't make it to teams like the Lakers or the Spurs. Something tells me he'd have drowned in it with the attention probably going to his more famous teammates and the staff working more on them. Thank God he got selected to a comparatively weaker team (back then), and pretty much made it the most feared in the league for quite a while!
