@@notateenimyoungin Ok thanks! sometimes i miss and it feels weird to do that and shooting percentage goes down is it from not enough practice like that or any tips? And it amuses me because of how curry does it and i have been watching his release all day and his is so soft but mine is stronger and all four fingers are pointed strongly at the ground
Love this video! Yes I totally agree. The soft hand shooters tend to be one motion shooters and rely on fully body force mechanics. The tough hand shooters shoot more two motion and have more control in the mid range. I like to think of it this way - tough hand shooters impart power and aim with the wrist. Soft hand shooters impart power and aim using their body alignment. Tough hand shooters also have more control of the ball in the hand because the fingers are spread wider.
Hello:) I understand you are a very hardworking man! I adore you big bro! I was also like that before in my high school years. But luckily I was able to master my shooting form and shooting abilities on my college years (present)
solid logic in thist video. i understood you wont worry about the haters apperantly they came here for English class not basketball class. you should have mentioned reddick. when i think of the goat shooters i think of steph, reddick, and ray allen. steve kerr, it really depends on your body type also and play style. if your short you need to have a quick release and less jump. if your tall and play a lot in the post you can use a high release point. if your athletic you can use a two motion shot similar to kobes. but for most people i think similar to stephs or reddick will be gto.
It's true that different people have different hand types. But when you shoot the ball, you just inmate others' shooting form.As a consequence, your jumper looks very rigid and unnatural, your shot is not smooth and you have a really slow release. In my humble opinion, you focus too much on unimportant details .Actually,as long as a player feels comfortable and he has a smooth and quick release, that is ok.
Awesome video! I really love the soft hand/tough hand technique, you are very knowledgeable and i hope i can use your tips and fundamentals to help me get better
adammaccloskey if it was just basic fundamentals everybody would be good as chris paul which is just not true. Advance techniques and concepts are definitely things skilled players have
And so has every player in the NBA. One motion is quicker, more efficient, and more consistent than two motion. It doesn't take that long to change your shot if you really put the work in.
