After hearing his interview I was so amazed that he just feeling everything with his hands on the pommel horse because he can't see really well but still pull up an amazing routine.
@mht4908 Ned had those legs glued to each other in classic form with a sensational bravura tempo rhythm. He seemed unfazed by the difficulty. Rhys had form breaks, but the dynamics of the performance and brio were fantastic. He deserved the gold upon several viewings. What happened to MAX? Did he qualify for the final? I can't find his routine... Cheers
@@MrQbenDanny He qualified to the final and ended up in 4th place. He actually put up the highest difficulty in the final (6.9 vs Rhys’ 6.6 and Nariman’s 6.7), but he wasn’t as clean and had a large leg separation towards the end of his routine
Guys! Im all in for gender equality and all. But when i see what the men gymnasts wear and what the women wear. I feel a lot of inequality in it. Either the men wear what the women wear or the women wear what the men wear. Really. I bet the women would say they want to wear wht the men are wearing.
Because the USA men's gymnastic team has not won any medals at the Olympics for a long time and they were extremely happy with their bronze medals!! Happiness because one has excelled. Stephan did have two one arm rotations and a longer routine, pretty amazing - also he can't see the pommel horse, he goes by feel because he has an eye condition where it's hard to see and the light blinds him and he can't wear his glasses while competing.
