Well Eric said he played/approached his bass like a rhythm guitar…. and he wrote everything outside of ritual. Dave does just follow and texture while being the biggest fan of R Smith and Daniel Ash. Perkins not having ideas? Giving suggestive direction is how it’s done sometimes. Good grief.
