In 1971, Stephen Stills embarked on his first solo tour ever, opening each show with an intimate acoustic first set and closing each night with a riveting electric set featuring The Memphis Horns. These historic, previously unreleased recordings took place over two nights at the Berkeley Community Theater, with David Crosby joining him on vocals and guitar for "You Don't Have To Cry" and "The Lee Shore."

Beautiful. Crosby’s voice at a live show is a one of a kind joy to never be forgotten. I’m so saddened by his passing. I recently live in Ventura County and Crosby was in nearby Westlake/Thousand Oaks area. He did some shows in the area and just by chance I saw articles about the shows. I purchased tickets of course. I would never pass on this opportunity. What a treat. It’s a out of world experience to Hear him like this. RIP Mr. Crosby. We miss you and your true fans love you. We are so devastated by your passing.

This is David's own song who found peace by traveling with his boat, when he needed peace so much. And I hear his love for nature while he's telling us the story of his dwellings with his uncomparable voice. I remember you David, the guy whose sensitive core will always shine in his music

This is beautiful. I can hear the ocean, feel the sand, and see the sunset. The music is the waves. There are very few songs that hit the genius level with melody, singing, playing,and lyrics, but this song aces all four of those things. Thank you so much for posting this.

The group really should've been Crosby, Stills, Young. Some true soul and energy emerges from Leeshore with these two. So much of CSN was totally airless, lilting and homogenized into deadness when Graham Nash chimed in. David was the best at crafting the vocal top end of a song that I've ever heard. To hear him and Neil sing Alabama, even just a slice of it, is just magic.
