The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 83-77. Stephon Castle finished with 22 points (2 3PM), 5 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Spurs, while Nathan Mensah added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals in the victory. Alex Reese tallied 16 points (3 3PM) and 3 blocks for the Trail Blazers in the losing effort. The Spurs improve to 1-0 in the NBA 2K25 Summer League, while the Trail Blazers fall to 0-1.

@@j33k83 Go watch his HS film. He's a true combo guard. Having CP and Tre there is only gonna help his playmaking. Really tho, he makes great passes, that most ppl at his position dont make esp at his size. If you compare the reads he makes at his height.. Its comparable to some of the top big guards you know and love, and i mean the way he passes it not the numbers

@angeal97 Jimmy Butler is 6'7, 230lbs and he plays from 20 ft and in, from the mid post and takes mid range jumpers. That isn't Castles game. And Butler is not a pick and roll initiator with the Heat, which is what Castle will be doing for the Spurs.

@youngbluski true. It was a confidence thing I believe. UConn had him playing offball. Less touches. He was the main facilitator in HS. He will slowly get his groove back with his shooting as he regains confidence.
