Steppin’ Out host Peggy Scott Laborde welcomes author Richard Campanella for a special edition of the program. Geographer and Associate Dean for Research with the Tulane School of Architecture, Campanella is the author of 14 books focusing on the history, cityscape and overall geography of New Orleans. Topics discussed include the decision to locate New Orleans where it is today; efforts to develop the city during its 300 year history and the visits of a young Abraham Lincoln to New Orleans.
