Great video Sofia . I submitted my Express entry profile on July 30 2024 around 7 pm MST and to my surprise , i received an invite on July 31 2024 . My CRS score is 551 . I have been referring your channel for WES and Express entry profile . Much Thanks ❤
Omg ! Congratulations! That’s amazing! So happy for u. 551 is a great score u had to get it. Thanks for the support , u can now check my videos for the next processes 🤣🤣🙈
@@Smarttraders24 Masters Degree , 3+ years of India experience, 1 year of Canadian experience and a job offer for the next couple years in canada , Celpip score - 10 , 10 , 9 , 9 [ CLB 9 I hope so ]
I hold a master's degree and have four years of experience as an Application Developer in India, along with one year of experience in Canada. Additionally, I have an offer letter for the next two years and my brother is a Canadian citizen. I’m unsure if this contributes 10-15 points to my profile. Also, I am under 30 years old.
Great video Sofia. You may want to go back and edit it. You put a box in to block some details but the box always disappeared so for example there was times you could see your UCI number which I don't think you want out there
Hi Sophia, Thank you so much for such informative video. Just have few questions 1. In work history section do I have to mention all my work history that I did as a student or just NOC work experience is fine. 2. While I was on my study permit I did some Uber as I was not doing any other job. So I have to mention that as well ? And IF yes does Uber comes under self employed work type ? Thanks once again
Hi Sofia, Thanks for the Video. I have read in the IRCC website that as of October 1, 2023, upfront medical examinations are no longer required at the time of application for Express Entry. An immigrant medical exam (IME) from a panel physician is a requirement for permanent residence. If we have never completed an IME, we may now upload a blank document in the upload field of the Express Entry profile Builder when submitting our application. IRCC will then send us further instructions on when to get our medical exam. Is this the latest update?
thanks. please also make sure to into more detail such as what documents need to merge and combine in those docs in the checklist, or also include the options of people who are not in your situation such as married and what is needed there. thanks
Hi Sofia! Your videos are so helpful and I watched most of them as they are very informative. I have a quick question if I’m in Canada currently on my PGWP and will be applying for express entry through CEC and as I have diploma from Canada do I need to add a diploma that I did back in my home country? I do not have a Wes certification for it, so will I need to get one? Can I just add the education I have in Canada is that enough? If I add the education back home to my personal history do I need to get a Wes certificate and do I need to add it to the education history? Thank you so much! Sorry for all the questions.
Hey thank u so much for all the love ! Really appreciate it ! U can apply with just the Canadian degree but depending on your qualifications adding your Indian degree as well can help u get higher CRS points , for eg - if u hv masters or higher u don’t need , but if u hv bachelors or post grad , adding your Indian degree can help u get points under 2 or more degrees
Hey Sofia, great content. Thank you very much for your efforts. I just have 1 question. I did a flagpole for my PGWP application. So, under the statutory questions where you mentioned your study visa refusals, do I need to mention my flagpole details ? Otherwise, how to mention flagpole in pr application ?
Hi Sofia, thanks for your video, I’ve been working in my fathers farm since its inception like during the holidays, while I was in school 1. Do I include it in my personal history. 2. I claimed points for it, from November last year till present - it’s a family business but that’s when I began being paid properly 3. It’s a part time job which I do during the weekends and I have a full time weekly job- started this last week of November- do you think it might be a problem, can provide payment slips for both 4. Should I include an LOE since it’s my father’s business? 5. Is it okay to tell them that it’s a family business ? Thanks and merry Christmas 😊
Hi Mimi ! Thank you for your support, yes mention it in your personal history, and it’s ok to show both as long as you can provide documents or proof for both , it’s not mandatory to explain that it’s your father’s company or family business if you hv the docs , but if u want u may
Do we have to fill our immediate family information even if they're not applying for PR or planning to come to Canada? Also, I haven't mentioned my UG (bachelors) when I created my profile but I've added it in the activities list.. would they ask for that certificate? (in which case I'd need WES ig) Edit: You're the only one who has posted the invitation steps on youtube!! so thanks a lot for this :)
Hi Anirudh ! Thank u for your support, glad u found this video helpful! U need to fill out immediate family information even if they are not coming to Canada, if u hv claimed points for your UG in the education section then u need a Wes, but if u hv only mentioned it under activities section u won’t need Wes
Hi Sofia, Thank you for such an informative and detailed video. I have a question regarding my travel history, I came to Canada on a Study permit from India, and then I visited India for a few days via the US, and came back via US Canada, no other travels apart from this. So, I will need to mention only details about travel via the US or I need to mention Travel to and from Canada/ India too for this trip?
Thank you so much ! So travel history is excluding your country of residence( Canada ) and country of citizenship ( India ) so u only need to mention the us travel history
Hi Sofia, thank you for this informative video, question for the work history, I don’t have my certificate of employment from my previous employer, do I still need to put them? Or i’ll just indicate that I was unemployed? Thank you in advance.
Hi if u are not claiming points for the work experience then it’s ok to omit it if u don’t hv any proof ! They hv multiple acceptable proofs of employment, see if u can get any as that will help u increase ur points
Hello . U provide the most straightforward explanations and thank you for that u r an angel ! I have some questions.. 1)Where do i upload the biometrics information? 2) where do i upload the ielts test results? 3) how do i know what type of medical results i need and where to get them? 4) i didnt see you mentionning biometrics anywhere? How do i know where to get them and where to pay and all of that?
Hi u will get an email from ircc for biometrics after ur application is reviewed, check this video for info ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H_nthlXcF8M.htmlsi=NN8gl0mIlkek7e9M
Hi Sofia! Awesome content! Question, does co-op work experience and part-time work as an international student count for work experience? Should I declare it?
Hi thank u so much for your support, co op and part time work as a student does not count as Canadian work experience, so u can omit them under work ex and mention them under personal history details
Hi Sofia. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I just need to reconfirm, under Family section you are mentioning that if I am only applying for myself, I should only add 1 as "How many family members do you have" for the question. Can you please confirm this please? Since the question asks about family member details, I updated my details as the actual details. Should I update my details in the application?
Hi, if I am adding work experience while I was studying in Canada, should I choose ( work permit required,no Lima required or no work permit ) I know you don't get any points for this Thank you in advance for the help 😊
Hey u should not add work ex during studying in Canada under work history, work history is only for work experience for which are eligible for points , I would recommend to add under personal history, I did that too
Hey Sofia, Please when uploading documents for PR application, On the thumbnail where I'm to upload Proof of funds document, should the bank statement and gift deed be joined the same PDF or separate PDF documents?
Hey I have a question. When you see the documents checklist, can you go back and change your answers to the questionnaire? Or do you have to make sure everything is answered perfectly before you see the documents checklist? Great video by the way.
Really appreciate the support! U can go back and forth between the questionnaire and the document checklist and make changes , only after the final payment is made and application is submitted u can not make changes .
Hi am still in the process, it took me 3 months after ita to get biometric request , 1 more month to get the biometric appointment, have that next week , let’s see how much longer after that
Hi, can u pls tell me the current process of medical after ITA. I have received my ITA recently but confused about medical should i upload blank document as per new instruction or go for medical? Thanks in advance
Hi according to the new update you don’t need to submit medical test , u can just upload a blank document , I hv also made a detailed video on the medical process , u can check it out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mEuGEK5-vzE.htmlsi=bo5aap1hnj1LwIOH
Hey Sofiya! Thank you for such a detailed explanation. Just wanted to ask that, recently I've received invitation for PR under "Provincial Nominee Program" type, do we have to submit the proof of funds for this category?
@@sofiaincanada If it's Ontario, should we provide accordingly. Also, I'm not able to add my spouse to my current profile and also raised a webform but there's no response yet
Hey Sofia, Do you need to pay the total up front when doing it with common-law or is there an amount that's only needed to pay and can pay rest at a later stage?
Hi, thank you for the amazing information. I had a question about the Personal activities section - Do I need to add the part-time work experience that I did during my study? Or is it not mandatory?
Hi u can add the part time work under the personal history section as they ask u to mention every organization that u hv been associated with but no need to add in work experience as u are not getting points for it
@@sofiaincanada that was my question too! Because I don’t see a reason to add every single job I had into the work history if I’m not claiming points for all of them (also, I don’t have the reference letters for all of them), but I was thinking if it wouldn’t be controversial to state 5 work experiences in the Personal History section and then only 2 in the Work History section. Thank you for clarifying!
Hi Sofia, Very informative video i must say I have a quick question; under the "Intended to work in canada" section you said if we dont have an LMIA based job offer we cannot mention or we need to select "NO". However, what if the same Non-LMIA based job offer got you the nomination in a province? Would we still select "NO" in that case? Please advise
Hi thank you so much for the video , to the best of my knowledge I would still select know as if u click on the I above the question, it states what all is considered yes and then u can check if you can still yes for your job offer
Hi Sofia, My common law partner is a Canadian. How do I answer the question “Does Berenice have a relative who is a citizen or pr of Canada? And for putting the family members, do I have to put all the immediate family members even if I am the only one applying for PR?
Hi Sofia, Very informative video. A question please - In the education section, should we enter education history since Higher secondary till the highest education or only the highest one for what we have got the WES report? Thanks in advance!
Thank you ! you must enter education according to WES report , if u hv multiple degrees after higher secondary i would recommend getting the WES done , so u can claim points under 2 or more degrees, if u hv masters or phd , then usually only the highest degree is enough
@@sofiaincanadahi Sofia, Question for you - I completed my masters in Canada and bachelors in India. Can I add my bachelor details in my education - but not submit WES for it? Or do I still need WES ECA for bachelors?
Hi Sofia, great great great video I have a question Under "personal activities" while schooling in Canada I did several part time jobs. Is this important to put that ? Or I should just put my education? Those jobs are not what I'm getting points for though.
Hey i would recommend mentioning coz they do ask to mention all organizations u hv been associated with , and u don’t need to submit any proof just mention
One more question. I am not sure if understand it correctly. Does everyone only need to show proof for only one primary occupation? If I have more than one primary occupation that satisfy the IRCC, does that give extra credit? I've been told to present only one occupation, the primary one, and provide proof for it and leave everything else in the personal history section. Is that the right way?
Hey u hv more than one primary noc , I would recommend adding that if it’s giving u more points under Canadian and foreign experience, I added it too , u need it to add it under secondary noc and u can add multiple but u need to provide proof of employment for all the jobs
Hey, Sophia. Thank you for your video. We applied for a PNP program, and to do so, we first had to create an Express Entry account to get our Express Entry Profile number. I uploaded all necessary documents to claim my points. I applied with my wife, but since she hadn't done any diploma verifications, we claimed zero points for her, as advised. After receiving a nomination and ITA, my Express Entry account required more detailed information, including all personal and travel history. My question is: since we didn’t claim any points for my wife initially, do we need to include her "Work History" and "Study and Language" sections now? If we do, the system asks for all necessary documents. I’m confused because I thought points were collected before receiving the ITA. The system still mentions calculating scores based on education and work history. Do we need to upload all documents for my wife now, or is it enough to include her experience under Personal History?
Hey u would have to only include docs for your wife if you are claiming points if u don’t hv the docs just mention them under the personal history section
Thank you, Sofia for sharing the video. Please I would like to clarify something. For those that may no longer be in contact with an immediate family member do I have to include their name on the list in the family section and also for the addresses do they have to be where you visited too or just places that you had a right to stay like student or citizen. Thank you.
Hi , if they are immediate family members like parents or siblings I would recommend mentioning, otherwise attach a letter explaining why u can’t mention, that should work.
Mention if you have traveled to any country outside that of your citizenship and residence , apart from that u just need to mention places where u loved not the ones that u visited for a while
Glad that you found the video helpful, If it’s exempted from lmia then u can select I guess , but check this page from ircc to see the requirements and which jobs are exempt
Hi Sofia, Thank you for sharing the valuable information. I hope you received your PR card. I have a question regarding refusal questions. Even though my first study permit was rejected, it was eventually approved. Based on your explanation, we should answer "Yes" to both questions and provide the same explanation. However, I am a bit confused as I am receiving different inputs from different people. Some say to answer "No" to the first question if it's a permit and "Yes" if it's a visa.
Hi ! thank u so much , got my ECOPR , still waiting for the physical card , i would recommend writing yes and explaining , mine was exactly the same case, got refused fr study permit once and then approved , I did this and it all worked out perfectly
Thank you @@sofiaincanada One more question regarding travel history I did a flagpoling for pgwp ..do I need to mention that in travel history..let me know your thoughts
Hi Sofia, great video ! I have a question regarding travel history, so I came to Canada on Study permit from India, and then I visited India for a month, and came back to Canada, no other travels apart from this. So , I should select ‘No’ in the travel history section correct?
Hey congratulations! U can check my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EtXvhs5woaA.htmlsi=D3bADDtih_NUtekd , I hv explained how to get the biometric done in detail here
Hey, thanks for the information!!! Quick Question, for the police certificate, the entity responsible for doing so is asking me for the letter received from the Canadian government (IRCC) with the reference of my application (UCI - DOSSIER - DEMAND) that was assigned; However, the letter received only has the "Express Entry Profile". Do you know if this is the same as the application reference?
Hi ideally u sudnt hv to provide any letter from ircc as PCC can be done in advance , however if they are insisting u can provide the express entry letter and the uci no from your application, the uci no will be present once u submit your express entry profile on the home page
Hi Sofia, thank you for sharing this content. It was super useful. I just have 1 question. I went for a flagpole for my PGWP. Do I need to mention this under the questions where you mentioned your study visa refusals ? If not, then how to mention this info in complete pr application ?
Thank you for the support , if the pgwp was approved through flagpoling then no need to mention, however if u still want to show u can explain in a letter in the optional docs , but it’s really not required
Hi Sofia! Thank you for the detailed video. I have received invitation under CEC, Just one query, I have 7 experiences (2 of Canada, 5 of India) in total which I have shown while creating the express entry profile. Now after receiving the ITA, I want to claim points for only 4 experiences. So can I do that and should I mention those 4 under work history and rest 3 (of India) in personal history section in PR application? Is that fine? Also, now in PR application if I change NOC of any of the work experience mentioned while creating EE profile (points will not be affected and go down below the PR draw), does it create any problem?
Thanks , I would highly recommend calling ircc and confirming, If it’s not changing your points it should not be a problem, but if u call ircc , confirm and take all the details of the person giving u the info , u can add a letter of explanation explaining why u made the changes and that ircc confirmed that it is ok to do so thus less chances of pr getting delayed or ircc asking why u changed
Hi Sofia, Great video. I had a question on Medical Examination part...as me and my husband arrived in Canada during 2023 and 2022 respectively after doing our medicals required for immigration from India. Do we still need to again have a upfront medical examination done for submitting our ITA?
Hey no in that case u don’t need another medical exam , u can check the later half of this video I hv explained in detail ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mEuGEK5-vzE.htmlsi=-ZaIlyEa8Y_06_WW
Hello, thanks for the sharing. Quick question. I got my ITA just now, but I don't see any fields where I can upload my language test results. I am in the French language proficiency category, so that's even more weird. Does that mean I need to? Also, there is a education field where I am asked to submit my diploma, but I don't see where I can submit my ECA. Should I just combine my ECA with my diploma and upload it? Or is it because WES has submitted my ECA to IRCC so they don't have to ask for it?
Hey there is no tab to upload the language tests , as u will be entering the test number and all details ircc can verify your results with those information, however if u want u can upload it under the optional docs tab
In the section where its asks to add family members that have not been identified, is it necessary to add spouse if spouse has already been added in the application as a dependent?
Hi ! My UCI number on work permit is different than on the one in the PR profile - it starts with a CAN-XXXX , Do I use the one on my work permit or the one that starts with CAN in the PR application. TIA
Hi even if it’s a general category, ur invite specifies which category u hv been invited under, mine said CEC,so I just had to put my letter of explanation and dint hv to provide any proof of explanation
ITA through OINP already received. I have account maintained since six months and I also topped amount in the account due to new born. Yet my current balance is more than what IRCC required but I came across something to show that is Average Balance Certificate from the bank for last six months which might be lower than the slab of IRCC for three members. Is it important to provide Avg balance certificate if already showing 6 months St. of account What to do pls help?
Hi Thank you for a detailed video. So for CEC, as you worked part time on student visa, where do I mention that experience? Under work history? or under personal history section? And my second question is I havent travelled any countries other than Canada for study and then pgwp, do I mention that travel to Canada for student visa under travel history?
Hi parita ! Thank u so much for the feedback ! Really appreciate it ! For CEC your work experience as a student doesn’t count for points , it is the work after graduating on pgwp that will be considered, u can mention that under personal details where they ask u to mention all organizations u hv been associated with
Hey, I have one more question. While filling out the PR form, I mentioned that my husband had graduated Degree. Because he does not have WES, I did not claim any points from his study column. My question is ,is it still mandatory to upload his certificates even though I don’t claim any points from his study column?kindly help with this question.
Hey Sofia I have a question concerning the address history. I am leaving in my country of residence but from 2020 to 2022 I went in my country of citizenship then in 2023 I came back in my country of residence still at the same address. How shoul I fill that part in order to fill the gap as well? Is it gonna be Xyz 2017-2019 current adress Abc 2020-2022 address B Xyz 2023- 2024 current adresse?
Hi yes , fill up the address information of both your country of residence and citizenship to ensure there are no gaps , how u mentioned is the right way of doing it
Hi Sofia, thank you for the video, this is very helpful. Quick question tho: In Personal Detail session, Immigration history and citizenship: there's this question asking : 'Has [my name] applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before?' I didn't realized that this include study/ work permit application to IRCC before and selected NO in my EE profile before. Now I have recived ITA, and watched your video, realized that I should've answer Yes. If I change the answer to Yes, would this be considered as a change of EE profile and affect and potential cause my PR application to be declined? Should I write a Letter of Explaination to explain this change I made? Please let me know what's the best actions here. I would really appreciate your insights, thanks!
Thank you for your support ! As this question doesn’t really impact your score , it should be ok to change it , just include a letter of explanation that u selected no in error. U hv changed it now , this is your study permit no and u hv not violated any terms of your study or work permit, it should be good ! And congratulations for the ita
For Biometrics, I saw that for PR we need to give new biometrics no matter what. According to the new update. And to trigger the fee payment option for biometrics, we need to put “No” in the question of if we had given biometrics before. And explain that in the letter of explanation. Is that still the workaround?
Now even if u select yes , ( I did that ) , it still shows the biometric fee and u are charged for it , so no need to put no , as u will be charged either way
Hi Sofia, thanks for this video. Can you please provide the list of documents that you submitted as part of the pr application after receiving the ITA?

Hi Sofia! thanks for the video! Question: are you able to go back to this questions once you get the document lists? Or you are not able to go back? Thanks!
Hi, I am including my spouse in my application. Doubt - should I include his travel details under my “Travel History” ? It is included in his travel history details. Confusion because the description says, include your family’s travel details.
Once I complete the application form and click Continue to go to upload my documents. Am I able to go back to the application page to review everything or can I not go backwards once you are on the document page?
Hi, can I ask what documents you uploaded as employment evidence? I have an employment reference letter and pay stubs from my Canadian employer and an experience letter and pay stubs from my previous employer (home country). I am claiming points for both. Do you think these documents would be enough? Thanks
Yes if the employment reference has all the information only that too can be sufficient, I just submitted work ref letter for all jobs , no other docs , but make sure that it has all the info , and in the right format and can be verified - check this video out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GFV0Qc3QflI.htmlsi=2rA2V9UtKgqEDC3t

And I have gaps of unemployment a lot. Is it necessary to add a LOE or not? And during that activity description i put "looking for a job", is that fine? Thanks in advance.
U can show both the one in India and Canada and claim points for 2 or more degrees, for gaps what u did is perfect just mention that u were looking for job , all the best 😊
Hi mam , i submitted all my documents with upfront medical, i got a request for biomtrics today. Does that means they checked all my documents or they send biometric request before verififying documents?

Regarding first name(s): I am Belgian and have 1 first name but also 4 other middle names (Example: Justin Alexandre Patrick James Jérôme) and on my ID card as well as my passport only my 1st first name, the first of my middle names, and the first letter of the 2nd middle name are listed (Example: Justin Alexandre P). Before receiving my invitation, I only wrote my first name (Example: Justin), which is already there by default in my application. What should I then write? Regarding proof of funds: In the case where the end-of-month (or average) balance for 1 or 2 of the last 6 months is lower than the required amount, but the current balance is significantly higher than the minimum required, will my immigration application be denied?
Regarding your first name(s) and middle names, it's essential to ensure accuracy and consistency with your official documents. Since your ID card and passport only list your first name and part of your middle name, you should follow the same format in your application. Therefore, you would write "Justin Alexandre P" as your first name(s) in the application to match your official documents. Regarding proof of funds, while having a significantly higher current balance than the minimum required can be beneficial, it's crucial to meet the specific requirements outlined by IRCC. If the end-of-month balances for 1 or 2 of the last 6 months are lower than the required amount, it's recommended to provide additional documentation or explanations to support your financial stability. To discuss these aspects in more detail and receive personalized advice for your FSW application, I recommend scheduling a one-on-one consultation. You can book your consultation by emailing me at sofiaincanada13@gmail.com. Please let me know your preferred dates and times, and I'll confirm the appointment accordingly.
@@sofiaincanada Thanks for taking the time to answer me :) I will try a litlle bit more to find a solution by myself for the proof of funds and if I dont I will schedule a consultation Thanks again :)
Hi Sofia. Thanks for the informative video. One quick question: My work-experience will be 3 years in Jan, but as per the ITA I received a few days back, they have considered it as 3 as per the CRS I can see on the ITA. I double checked, I have filled everything correctly. Could this cause any issues moving further? Would be great if you can share some thoughts on this. I mean it will be 3 years by the time I file my application so shouldn’t be a problem I guess. What do you think?
Hi , Congratulations on the ITA , as per the guidelines the work experience should be completed by the day you receive your ita not the day the application is filed, check your profile to see how many years of experience was selected,. Also would recommend reaching out to IRCC or getting professional advice from a registered immigration lawyer in this case. Its just a few month so sudnt be an issue but better to get professional advice
@@jaswindersingh219 it’s not an issue. Apparently that’s how the IRCC’s system works as it counts from month to month. :) AskKubeir had posted a video addressing this on his YT. You can check it out as well. Good luck
