Hi!! I am back after a long (and unplanned) break, during which time I wasn’t using any planner consistently. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But this July I have started using the Sterling Ink Academic Planner and I wanted to share the setup and how it’s been going so far. If you’ve followed me in the past there won’t be any surprises in this setup, but I’m happy to be excited about a planner again, and to have the chance to chat about it with you all. So nice to see you back and to hear the reason for your absence was not a sad life event one. I have really enjoyed watching your older videos and specially your pocket bujo ones. I also want to thank you for mentioning emkfit in one of your videos. I found her through you and she’s been my favorite (and only) workout youtuber that I’ve watch (and worked out to) in the past year.

@@ScientistPlans aww thank you so much, friend, I appreciate you! 😘😘 It didn’t show on the video but I even added some gold paint to my Ted Lasso BELIEVE sign and it makes me so happy! ALSO, those nano dots by Sticker Paige fit in the Weeks grid *and* she’s a Canadian shop!!!

Hey Ellie! Fellow teacher from Toronto here. When I didn't see you posting, I wondered if you had a contract. I was thinking about getting the Academic Planner from Sterling Ink this school year, and your flip-through was so helpful-it made my decision much easier! I've been using Leuchtturm for years as my teacher planner, but I'm getting tired of setting up a calendar every month. It's great to see you back!

I was sooooo excited to see your video! I will be very curious to see how you use this book. I am currently getting ready to apply for student teaching and was accepted into a teacher apprenticeship program for SpEd and really was very tempted by the Academic Planner (I love the B6 size) but ultimately went with a Stalogy B6 and am doing the bullet journal system which is working great! Please keep posting videos, I will be curious to see how this works for you! I am keeping my fingers crossed for the kindergarten position.

I hope it works well for you! ☺ This year I'm using the W222 A5 All-In-One with Unstacked weekends. Like you said you have seen people doing, I am dividing up the weekly spreads to create a weekly overview/dashboard - this is the missing piece of the planning puzzle I needed!

Just out of curiosity, which planner did you like better? Papertess or Sterling? Or in other words, bundled months,weeks or separated? Both are beautiful and I ordered a B6S from Sterling but I think I would really like the bundled like Papertess.

Oooh that’s a tough one! I can work with both but if I’m using my planner more for personal (instead of work) I love it bundled together. If I’m in a teaching contract and using it more for work then having the months all together is easier for long term planning my lessons etc. The planners themselves are both amazing, though!
