Exactly! All of the UM's. Me too! And TRP...I'm hooked, been hooked since my first notebook with it (back in 2015, I think). 😀 As I type this I'm working on my "fall" setup. The "journal-y" journal for thoughts, ideas, brainstorming, goals, projects, etc for Fall. And then there's the Morning Mindset journal (fancy, sort of, morning pages). Then there's the "Document my Life" journal, which is all about the art and words combo...lots of watercolor, pictures, collage, etc... And then there's the planner/notebook combo. Ummm.... Rabbit hole!
Hahaha 🤣 well aren't our brains similar. I love it!!! Yes, first love TRP. I can't not at least have an insert of the paper. I started using the standard sterling book for journaling. Kind of loving it. Tis the time to revamp my set up. So we'll see.
I really enjoy your videos. They're cozy and intimate, like you're sitting down with a friend for a cuppa and chat. :) You have great energy. I'm currently using my Hobo Cousin as my everyday, catchall planner, and my Hobo Weeks is my writing planner. I've ordered 3 Sterling Ink's for next year: an A5 will be my everyday carry planner, the weeks size will be my writing planner again, and I ordered a personal size to be a bedside memory keeper/journal. I hope you love your new notebooks, and I'd love a full setup video. Some long-form content would be fun where I could sit down and work in my planner alongside you :)
Sara, this is the sweetest most kind compliment. Thank you. 😍 My daughter suggested I make longer content but I wasn't sure anyone would want to see it. I will give it some thought. I love love love the Hobonichi Cousin. I started the Facebook group for it. It's my art at the top of the group page. I just felt overwhelmed by the A5 size in a full book since I carry my planner everywhere. I thought a B6 might be a fun change. I'm still undecided. It sounds like you have a great system. I wish multiple books didn't feel scattering to me. Maybe some day I'll embrace many at once. Goodness knows I have enough planner covers. 🤪
I’m with you 100% preferring books of paper to open all the way flat. The other binding encroaches on the useable space, threatening your pen like, “Don’t do it! Don’t write there. You KNOW I can smear you instantly, and by God, I will!”
I also got a B6 and standard size from Sterling Ink and Standard is by far my favorite so ive been using the B6 as my creative journal where i can practice new layouts...do long form journaling and memory keeping.... just a place to have fun and be creative so it doesnt go to waste. Excited to try the new B6 Slim size for this same thing for 2025. Just here binging your videos! You have such a lovely aura about you!
1:19 stop everything I love that match vase that you could light of the matches from by the way 🕯️!! I would like to get into P6 because I’ve never held that size before.
Thank you. I love the match vase too. So far I only light them for videos and special occasions. The B6 is a nice size. It's my second favorite to the standard/narrow I think.

I've been wanting to buy the Sterling Ink, but I've been in the hobby long enough to wince at the price of most planner's. It's what got me into bookbinding 😅 It really is lovely though, so I'll probably give it a shot some day.
OMG - that is a truly beautiful standard size bound notebook!! I’m adding this to my “future to buy” list! I love having a variety of notebooks on hand, I never know when the mood strikes to start another if start having an idea to write random thoughts. I really enjoy your episodes so much!
O my goodness, you are so kind. Thank you, thank you. I appreciate you staying tuned. I have taken to the standard book for journaling and minimal photos or stickers. I'll do an update soon. It's thicker than an insert but the lay flat is dreamy and can be by itself or in a TN as a chunkier insert.
I never heard of this company. Oh my God I have to order. Yes there’s nothing wrong with having more than one notebook and travelers notebooks. I love how beautiful your notebook has patina with age.
I do love the books so far. Yes, nothing wrong with multiple books. I have soooooooo many. I'm just not good at using more than one at once. It scatters me. Thank you. The patina is fantastic.
I just got the b6 half year undated common planner and am slowly setting it up. B6 size is new to me too but wanted to try it and compare to standard size and see what I like better🤷🏻♀️
What do you think so far? I'm part in the B6 and also still in the standard which is causing planning problems. 🤣 I love the planner itself. I'm just afraid to break up with what I have.
