I have had my writing box from GL for a couple years now. I love it. One word of caution, do not leave it open on your desk for months like I did. Wood warps over time. It took a while keep it closed and latched to get it to reshape, and it is fine now. Not a huge deal, but could have been if I had left it that way for much longer.

Haha! I'm glad you liked it. I'm pretty goofy. I do think not being afraid to really utilize things shows their loved. Once I get into the groove I'm pretty messy. That's part of the positive experience for me too. I struggle to let go but once I do 🤣 there is paint everywhere. Lol

This is lovely and it is giving me an excellent idea. I have several lovely Aura Estelle boxes that my binders came in. And they are sturdy. If this works for me, maybe a wooden box later. Be blessed and be good to yourself. It make the caregiving easier to have something enjoyable you can do or use to decelerate.

Such a lovely unboxing of a beautiful box. I had debated for the longest on which writing box to purchase…and regret not getting this one. Have you seen their medic bag? Hopefully they restock it some time in the future. It’s so nice to see genuine creators that are doing this to share their insight/experience and hopefully attract their tribe. Wow! I like it Picaso! Curious if that elastic holder with overstretch with time/weather and if so can it be easily replaced? My guess is you will keep the shell looking amazing with Tru Oil every now and again. Great buy! 🙂👍

Thank you so much. The holder is leather, so certain to soften but really durable. They do sell it separately should it ever need to be replaced.

@@dancesintherain Thank you for responding. But I meant the holder for the pens and scissors and such...is it also made of leather or elastic. Really leaning on buying this....very retro and super analog. Right up my alley! 🙂👍

@@samiam3297 Oh goodness, I'm sorry. Yes, the inside holders are made of elastic. I would imagine over time the elastic could loose its grip. It is currently pretty strong. I'm not sure it would be easy to replace, at least for me. The company has excellent customer service though. I'm with you on all things analog. 😊

My current life situation has me home more than not, so I have few opportunities to take it on the go. I have gotten it out probably weekly just to play in it.
