No, they wanted to hold the anc by it's balls. Anc said GNU and not a coalition. And don't forget the Moonshot pact where the DA wanted the same parties so that they can over power the ANC. Strangely it was the 1st to bolt running to be number with the Anc and shut out the other parties

The DA must never forget that the EFF is outside in the cold because they can't stand the DA. If the leave, EFF will gladly jump in. Is that what they want or are they will prevent the Anc/Eff merger?

The ANC seems to think they won an outright majority, it’s not the DA holding things up it’s the ANC and their entitlement. Follow the money, the ANC will be big losers and they don’t want that.
