Sterzing is a small town in South Tyrol, Italy, near the Austrian border. It is also known as Vipiteno in Italian, Sterzing is the original German name. The town is known for its typical Tyrolean architecture and the granite clock tower, the Zwölferturm.
We walk across the main town road and here you can admire the colorful buildings as we slowly move towards the tower and past it to the other end of this dazzling alpine town.
