The big question is which network. I don't know how well it would fit in at TLC. They may need to retool the concept make it less scary for MTV, or Headline news.

This made me so sad!!!! I have watched dead files in RU-vid since 2011 then in Travel Channel. For so long, I have watched this series. Love their style. We all had a great time with you guys!! I will miss you so much!

They belong on discovery with the other paranormal/supernatural programing. give the channel an assortment of programming instead of daily blocks of the same show over and over.
I miss the Dead Files! Thank you, Steve, Amy, Matt, and Cindy, for all the hard work and dedication to educate everyone about the paranormal and information to validate the cases. A & E has made a huge mistake in canceling the show. Hope to see it brought back in the future.
I was wondering if they were coming back. I'm so sad. Dead Files brought a different perspective to the paranormal. Every episode was geared toward helping people. Thank u Steve and everyone for all the great years. I really hope another network will pick it up!😔❤️

I totally agree that Zak is an asshole! Is he paying off the network All of our shows are gone now. From taps to destination fear! I think that the networks are really screwing up by not renewing all of these shows people want to see. Kindred spirits, Katrina Weidman for one!! I can name so many... Zak has screwed up everything
@@sonnysigouin-ct2zq I agree...with Zac you were lucky to get a small sound and everyone hover around debating if it was a word or not and what word...with Amy it was like a 60 year old woman named Thelma who was still morning her daughter Peggy Sue who was 26 at the time in an argument with her husband Hank then Peggy Sue took her own life...this was 1910 or 1912..and Steve would come back with a perfect drawing confirming what Amy saw property records confirming this did in fact happen to land owner Thelma was sole owner of the land and house after her husbands passing in 1910...Steve would also have documents from the doctor at the time confirming there was a Peggy Sue and she had taken her own life in 1910
@@sonnysigouin-ct2zq It would be hard to operate on the shoestring that YT provides content providers. I'd rather see them maybe on a syndicated studio group. I wonder if Tubi or Roku would take them on. Not Netflix or Hulu. They wouldn't take Steve but replace him with a retired female cop.
So disappointing. I love how this show really incorporated history with their cases. It wasn't the typical, lady in a white dress, or the taunting of spirits to get "evidence" or "proof". It was for the belivers, the truly curious or the healthy skeptic. The cast were clear on educating the viewers, that it's not always an evil spirit. It was Poltergeist, their own loved ones who have passed trying help, residual energy, entities who have never been in physical form, even entities who are not from this earth! And alway had a variety of solutions from different practices. Never straightened away from the most important purpose, to help people. Also very entertaining.Thank you. Blessings to you all.🍒
What I really loved was how their investigations actually gave answers and solutions. I really hope it gets picked up and gets to continue. Cindy did an amazing job filling Amy's shoes. I am saddened to hear this.
I have never missed an episode. I have had a few encounters in my life. It really helps to see that you are not alone in this. I'll miss the show a lot!
Yup if any show does better than GA Zach will have his way..... i got discovery plus just for all the ghost hunting shows that are being canceled now.... time to cancel them....

@@Linsmith571 I got tired of Zak and how he was and quit watching it quite a few years ago. Tired of seeing more of them coming out that my eyes were hurting from seeing so much of it. Last time I watched an episode was the one where they went to San Haven in Dunseith, ND. I've been by there MANY times when I lived in North Dakota!

The network which I wont be renewing my subscription to, cancelled everything every single show Paranormal related except for Ghost Adventures and who even cares that show sucks anyway. For this network to do away with the Dead Files especially is ridiculous, the fan base, ratings the amount of seasons it ran it makes no sense to cancel! No legitimate reason total bs!
You hit the nail on the head..."except for Ghost Adventures." Wander around YT and you'll see the majority of the hosts from the shows that were canceled by The Discovery Networks talk about the reason why their's was canceled. A certain GA host, let's call him Bac Zagans 😉, didn't like the fact that all those other paranormal shows were getting better ratings than his precious GA. So, he went to the execs at Discovery Channel and slowly but surely ensured all those shows disappeared until GA was left as the only paranormal show on DC. Nick Groff was the first to expose his ex-business partner as the reason why his and Katrina's show was dropped. That gave most of the rest of the hosts from other shows the spine to stand up against DC and "Bac" and tell their own stories of what happened to their shows. You'll find Nick Groff, Jack Osborne, Katrina Weidman, Dakota and crew from Destination Fear (now Project Fear on YT), and more now have their own thriving channels right here on YT! I dropped my entire cable subscription as soon as I noticed my favorite paranormal shows were disappearing, or went into nothing but reruns, and only GA was the one constant show with new episodes. I now stick to YT for all of my paranormal shows, real or not, because they're free (for now🙄) and I'm still seeing most of my favorite investigators in new weekly or bi-weekly investigations! Plus there's *Caspersight* which is hilarious! Ben can make me laugh faster than a Monty Python skit.😂

Then I realized no new seasons were coming back of those shows they were dropped one by one all except for GA and their new episodes.....not cool, not right, whoever made this decision is losing alot of customers apparently bc the only reason why I got Discovery plus was probably the same as yours, mostly for all the shows paranormal. Now their not streaming the bulk of shows we all enjoyed, Im not renewing! Pretty sure we are among a lot of people that feel the same and maybe the network will pick those guys back up. @@C.L.190 yes 😂 I used to watch GA and I liked it alot bc there was no one doing what they were doing, but then came better shows altogether without all the theatrics and drama. Yet GA is still putting out episodes?! Oh well I guess maybe the network will see the light or the $$$ and realized the effect of taking off air all the other shows that were doing so well (paranormal related) and bring them all back, highly doubt it though. Also if you guys haven't checked out the show Expedition X on Discovery plus you may really like it it's pretty good and they investigate a lot of the strange and alien and big foot paranormal type stuff all over the world! :)

Nooo, I'm so sorry to hear of the cancellation of The Dead Files. One of my all time favourite shows....hopefully another network will pick up the show. I can’t believe they made this huge mistake canceling The Dead Files. I’ve watched every episode multiple times and love watching them all day on Fridays. This is my all time favorite show and will forever miss it. Hopefully they keep playing the reruns for years to come
There are many "paranormal" shows out there today but there is no other show like the Dead Files. It was one of a kind. The goal was to help people and they did that. Like the other comments on here, this had grown to be one of my favorite shows. So sorry it's gone. I will continue to watch the reruns. What is so unfortunate is how the network just drops the show and doesn't even have enough respect for the fans or the people hosting to give a proper ending or season finale
I will miss the show but also miss the great people that was on it!! You never know who might be interested in the show!! Will miss you Steve!!! Much love!!
I’ve been watching the dead files since the very first episode when my kids were little and they’re grown now. It’s what made me realize the psychic I am and never understood why I know, see and feel things that others don’t. Please 🙏🏽 don’t take this away 😢
Sad to here this. We are fans of the show and am actually watching a re run as I write this. Steve, we really like you as the detective/researcher. Both Amy and Cindy were great. We had been waiting for news of a new season, so I decided to check it out on RU-vid. You guys are missed and we hope the very best for you all!
Damn shame!! Really loved the show. Watched from the beginning. I liked how real the show felt. I just visited Flagstaff AZ yesterday and couldn’t help thinking when you and Amy were there and visited the places that were on show. Good luck Steve in future endeavors!
