Throughout the next few weeks we’ll be aiming the spotlight at our Deliverance Series II amplifiers. As a part of that we’ll be hearing from Steve himself discussing the origin of the original Deliverance, the ‘mission’ of the Deliverance amps overall and what prompted the development and refinement of the Series II line. Enjoy and stay tuned as there’s much more to come!

The D120 head that I played four years ago at the Axe Palace is still burned into my mind as one of the best sounds I’ve ever heard.

I owned a Deliverance back when they was VHT the D-120 to be exact. Man! Loudest amp I ever owned! I loved the cleans the simplicity of a single channel amp. Cleanest cleans to absolute Beast mode Most versatile amp I ever played through. Another thing I loved about it, it Made me play clean. It will show when you play dirty and not articulated. I only sold it because money troubles and mortgage due. You can't go wrong if you have the money for a Deliverance head. Best amp I ever owned.

More cuts than AvP: Requiem but a great and informative video so far! Man I've waited for these deep dives. Deliverance, GP/DI, Pittbull, Aether.. etc. this is entertainment for me.

Just picked up a D120 ii head last week. I couldn't imagine a better amp. I've rolled from Jazz cleans up through hard rock/ early metal and Fendery blues. Everything sounds amazing no matter which guitar a use. Every note is there. My couple of other amps are going to collect dust.

Steve, I have really enjoyed your streaming show and find the insights helpful in understanding the story behind the sonics you have pursued and harnessed in your equipment. I enjoyed the Pittbull UL from 94 for some 25 years, and I find your PS-2 as an amazing device to combine the modern effects of recent pedals with the vintage feel of pushing the guitar from an amp through the cabinet. Keep up the excellent work!

Great video, its exciting to see, what the builder was aiming building such a legendary amp. On youtube there are not many videos that show the versitility of the amp. 😎🤘

I've always been intrigued by these amps. I have a CLX100, which I love (for 20 years) and I'm not intimidated by it at all, but I wonder what a Deliverance would bring to my table and how it differs in feel and sonics.

Amazing amp fo sho! I used them on the Sebastian Bach album Angel Down. Thanks again Steve for hooking me up. The Deliverance beat out some stiff competition in the studio. You rock!

Reminds me of my preference for a tv remote with just 5 buttons.

I played through an old 100w Marshall 1991 Super Bass for like 35 years. Basically a loud clean amp where you had to use some overdrive pedal. Thinking I was holding on to something really special you can imagine my disappointment when I found out it was just a common amp and not too sought after. I sold it and got a Deliverance 120 and haven't looked back since.

I wonder why he dropped the VHT name?
@Darth.Shredder
@Darth.Shredder Год назад
He sold the VHT trademark to AXL in '09. He was doing consultant work with them and they offered to buy the name. He retained everything but the name. Pretty sure he saw an opportunity to rebrand with his name and become more of the face of the company like a PRS, etc.. instead of the guy who makes VHT amps.
@jamesmalamute7874
@jamesmalamute7874 Год назад
@@Darth.Shredder I get that, but why would another company use a name from another company? That's like someone buying Mick Jaggars Shoes, and saying they wore them for the entire life of the shoes LOL
@Darth.Shredder
@Darth.Shredder Год назад
@@jamesmalamute7874 It's not like Mick Jagger's shoes at all. People, companies, corporations, private equity firms, etc., etc. buy existing companies all the time. AXL bought an established brand and Steve cashed out and rebranded with his name.
