What's most impressive is that Steven didn't change due to some external influence. He wasn't arrested or expelled or threatened with violence and got a wake up call. He just thought about his actions long enough and decided he was going to clean up his graffiti, apologize to Nancy, and distance himself from his awful friends.
Exactly. This was the moment I started liking Steve, even though the damage had been done I’m glad that he still owned up to it and did what he could to fix his mistake. On top of that he continued to be better instead of falling back into bad habits, he didn’t pull anything we’d see on Bojack Horseman.
Nah he got the shit kicked out of him by Jonathan in season 1, that's when he started thinking over his actions, ditched Tommy and Carol and started going full My name is Earl till making amends with everyone
Season 4 so far has shown old spark still exists between steve and nancy. And nancy jonnathan having some issues between them. And jonnathan moving to different college and all is not yet known to nancy. Seems like steve and nancy gonna be together.
Rewatching it he never really did anything THAT bad. He stood up for Nancy. The only really douchey thing that he did was break the camera, and even then he did it because from his point of view, Johnathan was stalking his girlfriend. Then he became a single mother. Of like…6 children and a lesbian
Steve in Season 1: Bully, Mean Steve in Season 2: became a great mom Steve in Season 3: Carries the show Steve in Season 4: becomes a boss and is the show
@@libertybattalion9069 that was on season 2 not 1... But if I were him and saw my girl on a room snuggling with another man I'd think she's cheating as well
I mean they can’t have any of the younger kids or Nancy be beaten up... so out of all the younger people Billy and Steve are the only ones who they can beat up without repercussions
i was confused at first and i was like "mike wasnt with steve when he was drugged?" but it was in season two after he had just been beaten up for the second time
Never could've imagined in a million lightyears that Steve would turn out to be one of my two most fave characters in the show but that's exactly what happened. Most of the credit goes to the actor obvs he's incredible
I agree with the comments to your comment, he was never a douche he truly loved Nancy he never did anything THAT bad. the only thing he did was break Jonathan’s camera but that was only because from his point of view he was stalking him and his girlfriend
I love how Steve basically went to apologize to Jonathan for saying those awful things about will it just proves he’s not a bad person Steve is badass monster slayer but also a great person
Steve was really never the jerk he acted like earlier on. I think he was just trying to be someone he wasn't and finally realized it when he realized what an ass he had been. He is one of my favorite characters on the show now, right behind Eleven and Hopper. Robin is up there now as well. And that science teacher, for some reason I just dig that dude.
I like how Dustin makes that growl noise at least twice much to Lucas' chagrin, and yet the second Steve shows disapproval, Dustin is finally like, "yes mother".
season 1: uhmmm no. but he has potential... season 2: oh damn I actually like him season 3: I love you season 4: If anything happens to Steve I'm gonna riot
Cyberrr, you telling me you wouldn’t freak out if someone took pictures of your half naked girlfriend and you? Tbh, Jonathan was really creepy and Steve had a right to be mad.
I just really wanna salute steve for being with those kids and fighting with those things. I mean Jonathan has the reason to be with them. cause nancy and his brother will is involved. Nancy for Mike. But Steve choose to be with them with no particular reason is sooooo awesome and heroic. I just see, he cares for kids a lot.
@@guyontheinternet8891 probably by trying to imasculate some dude who stole his girlfriend. Or maybe by hiding the 13 year old sister of a literal Billy Badass. No, hell get captured and tortured by Russian spies. And the russian spies give him heroin
I used to not like him in season 1, but now that I look at it again, he didn’t want to be a bully. Even when he does bully Jonathan you can see the remorse in his face when he drops his camera. He has lost it and said those stuff about his mom without thinking because he was angry.
I love how Steve went from one of the most hated characters to everyone’s absolute favorite character over the course of 3 seasons. Talk about a glow up
Killah Frost18x he beat it into the trap. If you rewatch you’ll see that it was closing in on Nancy who’s gun was blanking (meaning it had no bullets so she had no ammo) and Jonathan was down. Soo then Steve swoops in and stalls it enough that Jonathan is back up and then helps get it into the trap they placed which killed it
One thing I love about steve is that he is always ready for action or risks even if he is not the strongest or the smartest in the group. He knows how to protect his mates and children even if the stake is high
Honestly I thought that after season one, Steve would just kinda fade into the background and become irrelevant to the plot. But damn I’ve never been happier to be wrong.
I started liking him right from the 1st season ever since he stood up against Tommy and Carol and went back to Nancy to apologize❤... He's such a sweetheart ❤... how can anyone possibly dislike him😢
How we I feel abt Steve S1: mixed emotions. I can’t tell if I live him or hate him S2: absolutely love S3: amazing, pure amazement, incredible character S4: LOVE HIM SM❤️❤️❤️
This video brings back so many memories, because this was the first video I ever clicked on not knowing what it was then falling in love with the show 🥰🥰
