Came here to say that it is now on of my top 10 favorite Steddie edits of all times. It's so emotional and fits so well with a more serious and depressive mood of s3 and s4. Love Seddie, Love your video! Great job.
@@dumb.blonde.mI think we should be respectful to each other’s ships. I personally don’t go onto videos or edits or fanfiction or art about ships that I don’t like or are NOTPs for me. I do check things out when I don’t care about the ship one way or another - that’s actually how I’ve found new ships in different fandoms lol. I do state my opinion on ships but I try to remain respectful about it. In this case, yes. Canonically Steve is only interested in girls. However I personally think that pretty much the only person he has potential with is Eddie so I ship them. In Eddie’s case… the dude was clearly flirting with both Chrissy AND Steve in the show. He clearly had a soft spot for Chrissy and did things that made it seem that he had a crush (and it’s been confirmed behind the scenes). It was cute - if things had turned out different they would have been adorable together once she broke things off with psycho Jason. But then he’d get up close into Steve’s personal space in a way he didn’t do with anyone else (we’re not counting Dustin because that was obviously a brotherly relationship like Steve and Dustin); he’d say Steve’s name in a specific way he didn’t say anyone else’s name; he was all up in Steve’s personal bubble in the UD and gave him compliments in relation to Eddie’s own passions; he leant up into Steve and called him “big boy” in the RV. He was flirting. It doesn’t mean it was reciprocated. It doesn’t mean that if the writers didn’t do what they always do and kill off the new character and actually kept him around, Steve would develop feelings. It doesn’t mean that you have to like this pairing. It just means that canonically, Eddie was flirting with both Chrissy and Steve and people are allowed to ship what they want. You like Hellcheer. That’s great. So do I. But I also like Steddie. Maybe your comment should be a little less aggressive next time. After all. Ships are like food: if you don’t like eating something then don’t eat it. But don’t stand there yelling at a complete stranger telling them how much their food sucks. You just look like a wanker. Stating your opinion and why you feel that way is a better approach.
