I have to say an enormous thank you to the British Lion, because in a concert of about 5 years ago, my bass guitar was signed by Steve Harris!!! Horns up!!!
So glad to have seen these guys live a few months ago, they need more praise for what they do, excellent guitarists and drummer too, then of course you have the greatest bassist of all time, Steve Harris, they form a great group, glad to have shaken hands with the singer, good singer as well as frontman.
Even if its not Maiden it sounds great..like something from the 80s....I love and admire Steve Harris to bits, so maybe I´ll go and check the tour dates, it would be magical to see him like this.....
To all the moaners.....what fkin right have you got to more or less try and say that Steve shouldn't be doing this eh? If you were a true fan of Steve's then you would respect his wishes to do different things, just because he wants to do this does not mean he's giving up on Maiden. Also to the moaners you should remember this...... If a musician does the same thing for too long they get to a point where things become stale and boring for them. Great musicians will look to something else for a short while to rediscover that hunger for their true direction as a way of injecting some freshness into their main passion which for Steve is of course Iron Maiden. I for one respect the guy for trying something different! Ok it's not Maiden but it's not supposed to be Maiden is it? Ok it's different but it's also damn good indeed! I've been a huge Maiden fan all my life but if I get a chance to see Steve live in this band then I'm sure as hell gonna be buying a ticket!
@@Keke-jh5hj Why do you say he's not using flatwounds? The bass sounds the same as with Maiden; he just plays a more basic bassline here. I have a bass strung with his stings and they sound brighter than other flatwounds I've tried.
I value Steve's work, despite filling stadiums with Maiden, starting a new band and playing again in smaller venues, this band sounds good, just lacks a little energy to the voice. greetings from Argentina
They have that blue collar rock sound of Jimmy Barnes and Rick Springfield which is ok if you like that sort of thing...personally it does nothing for me.
Love Iron Maiden, Steve Harris et. al. but I imagine that singer has to be at least as annoyed by Steve standing in front of him mouthing all the goddamned words to every song as I am for fuxake.

Drummer looks like he's yawning and the song sounds like American '80s radio rock ala Bryan Adams...which isn't exactly a diss, seriously. But why, Steve? Why?
