Harvey is on the money with this one. I'm not comfortable with my wife having alone time with a male friend of hers, just as she isn't comfortable with the inverse of that. Char is really showing just how little he understands how a relationship works. I had a Male friend I knew from childhood and stayed in touch for many years until one day I texted him and he told me his girl was uncomfortable with it so we couldn't talk anymore.
