Those are the kind of friends you keep your whole life. I understand what made him step out that stage to give his friend hug. My best friend passed 15 years ago we've been best friends for over 30 years. The day does not go by that I don't think of Linda and miss her dearly. We actually talked on the phone at least five days a week. We did not text. We did not email we actually picked up a phone and dialed it and talked to each other. That's what real friends do. That way, you can hear the tone, the excitement, the sadness, everything that is reflected in their voice while you're speaking. With texting, you might as well be speaking to an automated recording because there is no flavor to a text unless you use emojis and capital letters. Animojis in capital letters really do not reflect a person's emotions

I know what that feels like. I’ve had the same best friend since I was 11 years old. I’m 34 now. When you’re best bros with someone, that’s a bond that cannot be broken.

I wasn't sure at first what he was doing, but when I saw him hug his bed friend of 61 years, I cried because I've got, well known friends who were supposed to be my best friends of 30 years and haven't really seen or heard from them after I was struck down with Multiple Sclerosis, got laid off of my 20 year job in 2016 and then the last one I had of 5 years in 2020.... I cry often and wonder why every day from the pain..... If they're your TRUE friends and you love them, please tell and show them because it's the loneliness and feelings of rejection and abandonment that can destroy a person.... God bless you Steve Harvey, you showed me that maybe one day before I leave this world I may see old friends I've loved for so many years....🙏❤️
