Fully agree with the previous comment. Stevie Heighway was Liverpool's "silent" hero. A great winger, one of the best crossers of a ball and a thoroughly nice fella too.
Great bloke, great player. Signed from Skelmersdale, and started his LFC career as an amateur. Some say he's also gained a B.A. degree. Always enjoyed to see him give 110% per cent for us. There are no players like him today.
Growing up, as a diehard Liverpool fan, Steve Heighway was my favorite player. I picked the #9 jersey because of him. I’ve heard he was living in Florida, and involved in youth training, anyone here knows his whereabouts? I’m in Florida as well, and really like to meet my childhood hero.
The 7th against Tottenham including Argentina's World Cup heroes is simply the best, easiest and most majestic team goal I ever witnessed. Always gets a start in my Liverpool dream team does Stevie.
