it is usually that way, live music is treated way too often as wallpaper where folks are drinking while they chat each other up - also most folks seem to think musicians have a special amazing "talent" and too easily dismiss the fact that 95% of said talent is dedication, discipline and just plain hard hard work going over fundamentals and perfecting every little detail of our playing from the picks we use to the strings, the instruments and learning more and more complex songs not to mention clean fretting, not dropping the beat or extreme slowing/speeding up and ugh.... well I could go on but that is the main point.

It’s background music to the Guest. They have no idea what’s happening with those two Musical Geniuses. Not their fault really. They just don’t know.
